  5. And then cleaning it when you're done? I don't like it.
  6. Sorry to hear. May he be welcomed with open arms. Sounds like he was a good man.
  7. I think they're saying it has trouble operating at those temps, not that it'll never work again after reaching them.
  8. I didn't read the main article yesterday, but from what I'm reading it may have been corrected. Someone who read it originally take a look.
  9. Lol. Keep us posted when that happens. I agree. I like to keep it above zero and under 122.

  12. They can explode due to the fact that there is nothing supporting the brass like the chamber does in a gun. Then brass pieces fly.
  13. MATEN. Mega Arms.
  14. http://dpms-gii.com/full.htmlon this page they sell the g2 ap4 with moe gear on it. Makes for 7.25 pounds according to the notes. So, if trimming is needed, it should be minimal.
  15. You know what will really help at that range....is a good bipod.
  16. Lol. That's right! How do we know you won't play with them too much?
  17. I second JT's request. How do we get a group buy on some strippers?
  18. Sexy! I really like the color. You don't see it as often anymore.
  19. Report I got was "loud as hell"....I think that's how it got its name. "Effin A, that's loud."
  20. To be fair Wash, he essentially said changing the twist rate will change the pressure and require a different gas port. Not that the gas port changes the twist rate. I guess the theory is a tighter twist causes more friction equating to a slightly slower moving projectile and allowing more dwell time? Not sure I buy it, but that's all I can figure for how it would affect it. You'll see bigger velocity differences in your loads than you would from the twist rate I would imagine. That might be a nice comparison test though. Same load through different twist rates ...checking velocities. Lighter loads are going to need a bigger port, hot loads may be fine where you're at. You'll have to decide what you want to feed it. The hot loads may be a little harsher on the system, but at least it'll eat the light stuff.
  21. Why does that sound so much like life in general, plane?
  22. I saw a decimal error earlier too. Guy claims 100's of barrels regualarly ring steel at 90.0 yards.
