Nice Mill , I have been thinking of getting a Combo , Mill/lathe for the small work , a little more compact when both are together as one , for my limited space I have . I have been farming my work out for years & really need to get something going that I can do my projects myself here .

That's great . Springs do wear out , as do other components in the Bolt , I keep spares.

Damn right , I'm cheap when I can .? I see no real use for a Revolver like that . 38-357 mag , why would you need to shoot 9mm ? Just so you can ? Still why ? If someone wants to pay 5K for one , good for them ?

Not sure the 24" HB came with a collapsible stock , but at some time it could have or the Upper & Lower were bought separately , hard to tell . If its not beating the rifle or you up , why change anything , as long as it works . Probably doesn't kick hard because of the Bull 24" Barrel , more then anything else .

Ejector or Extractor , I assume because of the kit in the link , its an Extractor kit . That may be all it is , but it could also be the Ejector or both , try the Kit you have & you will know . Check your Gas Block also . Issue with the foreign Bolt could be just that , I have a Barrel/Extension that will work with two Bolts , but not with the Bolt I got for it . That Bolt works in both my other 308AR's , go figure , they all Head Space fine .

I would find an Ejector Spring & maybe an Ejector also , Since you have the Extractor/Spring , try it first. Might be all it is . I have had them go both ways , Ejector/Spring or Extractor /Spring or all of them to repair this type of issue . I would also make sure your Gas Block is with in spec's , not loose or moved .

The Buffer is the correct length , but the weight is off a little , should be around 3.325 oz. , at least the ones I have are . The Spring length should be around 11 1/4" , with 29 coils . I have seen advertised 308AR DPMS Carbine Buffers listed as 2.25 oz. , but not sure if thats a miss print or what , but its wrong for a 308AR Carbine. Some how I don't believe you have a Factory built DPMS rifle or if you do , someone messed up or messed with it . Your Receiver shows it was not sold as just a stripped Lower Receiver , but I have one the same way & its not a factory built rifle , because I built it . I also have one that shows that it was sold as a stripped Receiver . There would be a " K " in the ser. # if it was a Receiver only

I don't hear or feel anything when I take a shot hunting , haven't hunted with a Muzzle break as of yet though .

Email said it shipped today , cool . I talked to him on Creakote a Hand Guard in the Tungsten Gray & it would add $ 50 to the HG., Sounds good to me , I think I will Take him up on it .

2.1 oz. is kinda light , what type stock is on this rifle ? Improve it ? depends on what you mean or use you want to use it for . Rifle may loosen up some with a higher round count , but if its ejecting & chambers another round , the ejection distance is fine . All three of mine , drop them only a few feet away . All mine have Rifle length gas systems , what system is yours ?

Now back to this welding stuff, I have a frame flat for my MAC 10A , that has to be folded & welded to be able to use & I know they have them for an AK , but it looks like the link you posted is of an all Steel Lower that can be welded together . Hope there is a jig to make sure the alignment of the parts is available , because there is a lot to the Lower Receiver . You have your work cut out for you , that's for sure & please post photo's of your progress , its something I would not even contemplate on doing & I've been building AR type Rifles since the late seventies . What most may be thinking here is , as I , These rifles ( 308AR's ) are hard enough to know, because of component compatibility issues , you have put yours into a whole different realm , so to speak . Fine sandpaper or Emery Cloth on a wood Dowel or even a fine round Rat tail File with something on the end to protect your Chamber , Polish it up , shouldn't void any warranty . I have various stones for such things , but have used the above tools to accomplish the task .
