  1. Oh , I missed that part . <dontknow>
  2. Did you buy your way out ? <dontknow> & Its what you bought today . <laughs>
  3. Impressive Warranty work & turn around <thumbsup>
  4. Probably don't need a special device , I'm sure with that 12" BBL. he probably felt it & we know he heard it . <thumbsup>
  5. What you don't have a 300BLK yet , whats with that ? <laughs> That is a good deal & I like the 110 gr. bullet .
  6. Reliability would be a concern with down loading the 308 win. to Subsonic levels , not to mention adding a shorter then normal barrel length to the mix. ( in a 308AR , that is )
  7. MI carries their on line of Low Pro Gas blocks in all sizes http://www.midwestindustriesinc.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=category.display&category_ID=253
  8. He should , I think he had two children waiting for it . <laughs> If you plan on hunting with this 15# rifle , I would also hire a weapons barer , to carrie the beast , as was said <dontknow> <laughs> . If you plan on bench shooting , a 24" sounds like a plan , but you want a multi purpose rifle & its a good idea to keep weight down for romping around the hunting area & you will not lose much, if any acuatcy in doing so , but its your build & make it your way . A good Barrel & Trigger is essential for a great shooting rifle , not to mention the nut behind said Trigger . Ammo is another thing you can't leave out of the equation , try different brands & weight of Bullets loaded in them . As with any Chamber/Barrel , it may like a certain combo or brand . Hand load if your into it , because you have a wider range of components to experiment with , but not absolutely necessary. My 16" Criterion Barrel will shoot MOA at 100 yards all day long , even with me trying to screw it up . I have a 18.5 " on the way to test & expect the same performance if not better .
  9. Another great Floridian brother <thumbsup>
  10. The real Unions got the labor work force where we are today , with respect to SAFETY & wages , but most , if not all ,of the Unions have lost their way along that road ,not the Union workers . It became a political force & when you look at the greaser in charge of the AFL/CIO , I think the Mob is still running them . When , in some State's ,you are required to be forced into being in a Union to work , that's Socialism . Yes you don't have to take that job , but WTF , I'm forced to be in a Union , to work , where is that all of a sudden ,an American way of life ! When you have Corrupt Union officials , telling you who or what to vote for , that's more Socialism , think about it , you have these people telling you whats good for the Union , never mind what may or may not be good for your Country . In the end you ultimately decide , but with what kind of pressure from your peer's & don't say it doesn't happen , I've been in two Unions & I would never be part of another one , job or no job. I have personally seen the multiple unions drive a company with thousands of good paying jobs to another State because of them taking turns striking every other year , its sad & sickening to me . Greed probably had a lot to do with it . Maybe you see it a different way , well stay with it , its your choice , but when the Union goes belly up because they are spending your hard earned wages that are paid for Union Dues' , to the tune of Millions of dollars to the Politician or Political party of their choice & you lose all or part of that great pension you have worked so hard for , there is only one place you can look or blame . The Public sector unions are the real problem, because it directly effects tax's , & will need a bail out to keep them afloat . The Private sector, as with the Ship Yard I saw go south , will not cost me a dime in tax's ,so they can do what ever they want , because its their jobs thats in the balance . I mean no offense to the hard working Union members , but if your a corrupt Union official , eat $hit & die MF. <lmao>
  11. The RULE strikes again ! Post #2 , I'm think THE RULE is entrapment for new guy's , but WTF ,its all in fun. <dontknow>
  12. Why the SSA , put one of the MechArmor Trigger Modules in there & you might like that SBR a lot more , that Trigger out right fast. Not saying the SSA isn't , but the Two stage seems to me a little slow on reset . Whats the BBL. length on that SBR ?
  13. I did googlefu the 16" barrel & none showed up , only 18" , but didn't put trapper in it , I'm over it now anyway , I'll stick with my NEF . <lmao>
  14. Whats with this statement on that sight ? I can think of a lot ,that do both . Do I need to name them ? Interesting bullet configuration .
  15. The lack of responses may be because it has been hard to get any of the Powders we used to be able to just order anytime we wanted to . We are just now seeing Powders come back in stock after many years of nothing . It's still sparse stock of most powders & hardly any of the most well known powders, are still not available .
  16. You do know your missing a screw on that Gas Block in the Back ground. <laughs> Nice looking CH .
  17. I used to own a N frame in 45 Colt , 25-2 , 3 , 5 or something like that , long time ago . I just watched a Chuck Norris movie from 1985, he was a cop & every cop in it had a 6" Revolver , all in shoulder holsters kinda made me laugh .
  18. Might as well buy a Colt Python , there is no 357 mag with that much & same can be said of a Marlin ! <dontknow>
  19. I looked at two of my S&W's , the Model 29 is a 29-3 & the Model 19 Target is a 19-3 & I know the Model 19 is much older then the Model 29 . I looked on the S&W Forum & they mostly say that those numbers are meaningless . I always thought they meant something too. WTF , I am so behind on the old stuff , I used to know this crap at some point . tis the trouble with getting old , too much input is forgotten with time .
  20. I've tried to look up that short rifle , I don't see it listed any where on Marlin's web sight . Don't they make it any more , they only show 18" bbl's. <dontknow>
  21. I have two sets of Warne QD rings ( one 30mm & one 1" ) & once you figure how to keep them all together at first install , they are great Rings . I will be testing removing & re-zeroing this week . Waiting for my new Magneticspeed chrono to get here . My rings are extra high for Flat top rail mount .
  22. Ya , its only money <thumbsup> ( & not mine ) <lmao>
  23. Well said , as usual . <thumbsup>
  24. Ya , all they need for it to be an DPMS now is get rid of that funny way the rear of the Receiver mate ! <laughs> If you like your Mini 14 , just go out & get a tricked out M1A , its piston , 7.62x51 & reliable & in your price range <dontknow>
  25. Not here , we are all professionals <thumbsup> I say this a lot to people who bring firearms to me because they are malfunctioning , "they all run good dirty till they FUK up" & when they do FUK up, its always at an inopportune time . With most its when that big buck comes into view & others its when they really need the firearm for serious business , it does happen . <dontknow>
