For having the Oracle, about the cheapest .308 semi you can buy. It took me 3 shots to hit a soda can @ 400 meters. With spotter looking on. First shot was a couple inches right, second shot was about an inch left, 3rd shot exploded the can. Now I really need to take it out to 800 and test Strelok for consistancy. I love it <thumbsup> <thumbsup> <thumbsup> I had taken the nieces and brother in law to the range for the day. Brother in law is a coasty and was a little shocked that my AR kicked so much more than their M-16.....until I told him it was .308 <laughs>

What I did with Strelok was sight in @ 100. Enter the BC and other definites then shoot at 400 and kept changing the velocity until Strelok agreed with known drop. That's why I say I still have to shoot it out further to ensure that the numbers it's given me are accurate. Being free is a bonus.

I use Strelok. So far so good. I've tested it at 400 now I need to push it out to 800 to see if it's accurate.

I seem to move from thing to thing over the years but it's usually one main interest at a time. Hunting is my number one pass time. If and when I ever get to retire you can bet that most of my time will be in the field. I love to golf. I did off roading for several years and dirt bikes for a few. Getting shed of the KTM as I just don't have any fun riding the soft sands that are most of Michigan trails. Shooting my guns and longbow are the most fun you can have sitting still.
