Old standard DPMS height is taller than AR15. The newer low height DPMS pattern is the same. It's a confusing mess.

Call me crazy, but I think Obama has saved our asses gun wise. Just think if a republican president was in charge after Newtown. ALL politicians are self serving scum. No exceptions. Any apparent exception is just a well crafted ruse. A republican potus would have caved to the emotional bs just as quick and proposed some feelgood common sense restriction crap. With party leadership backing the play..it would have sailed right through Congress. This partisan warzone has saved us alot of headache. The best Congress is a divided Congress where nothing gets done. When the politicians start working together, things go downhill fast.

Just saw an article with holder asking to restore voting rights to convicted felons. Strange he didn't mention restoring 2A rights as well. No agenda there, right? As recent history shows, voting can do much more damage than shooting.

The ace will require a new rifle length extension, and the 308 rifle length buffer/spring. Great stock though. Some of the newer stocks, like the magpul with friction locks, can be very solid and will work with your existing tube. I like fixed stocks though, so I understand going that route. Id recommend a magpul MOE+ rubberized grip. I swapped them onto all of my rifles after trying one.

Finally got a chance to watch this. Beginning was a little boring, but the second half was good. Very good.
