i hate you. bad disconnector/spring? there was just a thread on weaponsguild about guys getting crappy LPKs that caused doubles. maybe demand is so high that the manufacturers and slipping in QC?

read lots of stuff on them. looks like the new frontier have nice finish. the omni are rough but functional. id build a cheap shooter with one if it was the only lower available. before the stupid started I was getting forged lowers for $65 so no reason to use plastic.

The bolt catch screw is a pain. Theres not enough metal to grab with anything. Mine is in deep enough to hold. I just left it broken. Meh.

Im thinking it has something to do with the sportsmans contract. Probably werent prepared for that kind of demand and qc is going down the drain.

My buddy almost dropped 2500 on one. Found an ASA rifle for half the price at the buzzer. Thing runs flawlessly out of the box.

Just lube it and go slow and it should be fine. The metal is very thin at the bolt head so if you crank it it just crumbles.

You should use a smaller hammer!! On a serious note...I broke the stupid bolt catch screw head too. Still works but its ugly. Im pretty sure its common on first 308 builds.
