  1. Have you tried the gold box CBC ammo through it yet?
  2. First step in being involved in a shooting: be justified. Second step to being involved in a shooting: ensure that at least one investigator documents you saying "I am the VICTIM, they are the PERPETRATOR." Once that it IN WRITING, tell them things happened fast and, just as police do after a shooting, you want your lawyer present for any questioning. The third step: have a good lawyer. Or a public defender and Vaseline. In AZ vs Hickey, the prosecution in the first trial made a HUGE issue that Hickey used a Glock having no active safety. Stock pistol. Painted as blood thirsty and a gun slinger wanna be. In the second criminal trial (after a civil trial where his accusers changed their stories to get an insurance company pay out), the defense lawyer questioned the lead detective extensively about his issue Glock, why that pistol was chosen, why the department allowed/issued Glocks. The prosecutor didn't touch the pistol in the second trial. Hickey used the Pima County Public Defender, who was backed up by advisors from Massad Ayoob's legal action group, The Armed Citizens' Network. They came onboard part way into Trial 1 and were there for the entire second criminal trial. The legal systems in all 50 states are set up for one thing: to prosecute criminal charges against citizens. They are not there to ensure you are innocent. "Everything you say CAN and WILL be used AGAINST you." Remember: this happened in "Gun friendly Arizona." http://www.armedcitizensnetwork.org/images/stories/Hickey Booklet.pdf

    KIDD 1022

    ROFL!
  4. I've wanted one since the Grendel P30. Stupid AWB. Stupid Clinton! I agree that I'd rather have the PMR-30 than the FN hornet launcher.
  5. Why is that even necessary? We all know the CIA et al have already mastered passive bugging, via toasters and microwaves. Don't even get me started on "smart appliances". http://www.counterespionage.com/the-great-seal-bug-part-1.html Foil hat. Pppffffftt! Tengo un foil sombrero muchachos!
  6. When mine fell out while cleaning (whistling), the trigger got noticeably better. One of the RSOs was tripping out, I was hitting steel 8-9 rounds out of a magazine at 110 yards (it's a 9mm).
  7. Would I do that? He looks like that scalped mountain man from Jerimiah Jones.
  8. Hunh? Say what?
  9. Hunh. I would've said "poosy fingerer" but to each his own. ROFL
  10. I know that. I was asking if you meant just the firing pin blocks.
  11. My buddy has a couple of the Chinese drums...and he bump fires the snot out of them. The Chinese drums are the go-to on the market, others seem to fail miserably.
  12. For the firing pin blocks?
  13. I disagree. A few years before new ATCs were banned, I was fortunate enough to have a few friends in the owners' group. While don't certainly don't handle like a 2-wheeler, the 3-wheeled ATCs are plenty easy to control with weight shift and throttle. It's the whole reason manufacturers came out with long-travel suspensions and wider stances; because owners were taking them to their full sporting potential (very much the reason we now see factory rifles with all the bells and whistles one could hope to see). While media showed video after video of people flipping 3-wheelers (now 4-wheelers) over onto their heads and breaking their necks or melons, media still doesn't cast the final vote in the halls of Congress, media doesn't sign the legislation into law. I agree though that people doing any inherently dangerous activity beyond their skill level is stupid.

    KIDD 1022

Everyone does but it sure beats the heck out of the $2000 rifles with a Simmons up top.
  15. The ATCs were great! Another thing ruined by congress.
  16. Didn't we see one of those at the range?
  17. Welcome from AZ!
  18. That's all the guards get cut eventually, so they all gave up.
  19. That they are, an excellent value. One of my RSOs just (a few months ago) got the SR1911 Lightweight Commander. Looksl ike that will be next in the 1911 section here.
  20. While it may have since changed, the Loopys were priced twice as high and you could get either FFP or a lighted reticle, but not both on the same scope.
  21. Then you'd feel downright terrified at our closest grocery store. lol
  22. I love mine! The other scope makers better step up their game, instead of relying on a reputation established decades ago.
  23. Yes. I've not heard of this removal causing malfunctions nor seen it on my only 1911 that has (had) one. I've heard of several first hand incidents with 1911s and other systems, where the firing pin block has gone screwy at the range. Each of those people now refuse to carry those individual pistols (though only a couple have sworn off firing pin blocks all together). For your carry pistol though, it is my very strong opinion that you go purchase a new 1911 pistol without the firing pin block. Kimbers without the "2" designation, Ruger SR1911s, a wide variety of others. Because deep inside, you know you really want another 1911.
  24. A jury has found Badger Guns liable for a person shooting two police officers, who purchased the firearm from the original purchaser at Badger. http://www.wnd.com/2015/10/gun-shop-ordered-to-pay-6-million-to-shot-cops/?cat_orig=money Is this a or the chink in the armor opponents need? Discuss.
