  1. Those stag grips are magnificent!
  2. I can see that side of the coin for sure. Especially at 46. Here in Arizona though, Game & Fish is funded solely by the purchase of licenses and permits, monies that are (at present) strictly separate from the general fund, e.g., the politicos' cookie jar. I don't mind overpaying to see the benefit.
  3. Yeah, we've seen him. I was trying to get all ya'll to pitch in a couple of years ago, so we could get that dude over here for a shoot and beer fest.
  4. Score! Way to go Magwa!
  5. I like that even better! That flecktarn shows up awfully cheap in surplus. Really a very good deal.
  6. Ouch! That hurt my eyes to read that! Looks like a Honda Valkyrie to me. Very cool gang there Wolf!
  7. That is one good looking pistol!
  8. That stinks. Come spring it will look really strange, black sticks poking out of green grass and spring flowers.
  9. That'll work! Be interesting to see how that barrel settles in.
  10. Shooting in the desert is always more fun. There's a few places to the east we could try. We may be able to scout this week and report back.
  11. Excellent! We don't have the range the 17th but SERP will be open, spitting distance from Pima County Fairgrounds and MUCH closer to Vail! By about 25 miles. I would say let's hit the desert near Vail but everywhere we used to shoot over there is now housing. http://webcms.pima.gov/cms/one.aspx?pageId=595 SERP is tightly controlled but there is still plenty of blasting to be done.
  12. Yeah right! Nothing is THAT fast!
  13. Love the ad! Although their products aren't really "mass", i.e., bulk. At least in their offensive .45acp offerings: http://massammo.com/index.php/45-acp/sasquatch-ammunition-45acp-230gr-new-50rd-box-flat-rate-shipping.html
  14. Happy Fukn Birthday Brother!!
  15. Another Appleseed event in Marana this weekend. You guys really need to hunt these out in your area. Fun shooting, you learn LOTS, and gain brothers & sisters in arms. http://appleseedinfo.org/smf/index.php
  16. 300 miles east and you could own them.
  17. Wonderful history with your pistol there, Wolfgang! Very nice to see an original 1911, not a 1911-A1.
  18. Welcome from AZ!
  19. /\/\/\/\ That certainly is less than they are on GB.
  20. Sherlines are interesting. Check out Taig/Micro Proto. The Micro Proto is the CNC side, made here in Arizona (as are the Taig).
  21. Prayer sent for Ralph and family!
  22. Awesome! Lathes, eh? Two words: Live Tooling
  23. Gabe! Welcome from AZ!
  24. I love Red Dot! But it doesn't do well with autopresses on dropping powder, for "smaller charges". Everyone had told me not to use it for 9mm. Had to learn for myself. Hand weighed 50 charges, tested them out, worked great! Set it up on the autopress for 3.2gr IIRC. Checked the first 5 powder drops or so and they were good but apparently only from the extra jiggling to get those cases out. Loaded 100 up. Went to the range. The first mag was okay, the next one was like shooting .38 Super. Stop. Check the cases. Perfectly flattened primers. Yay. Time to pull bullets. The remaining powder charges ranged from 2.4grs up to 4.4grs. Wwoooo!! Now my small caliber Red Dot is all hand measured.
