  1. I believe it ended at midnight last night Rene.
  2. I used this holster once and figured out that IWB carry doesn't work for me. It's been sitting in a drawer since then, and is just like new. They retail for $72.95 on Galco's site and the tan model is no longer available. http://www.usgalco.com/HolsterPG3.asp?ProductID=3597&GunID=37 I would like to get $50 shipped for the holster.
  3. Chuck Norris doesn't do pushups, he bench presses the world! <lmao>
  4. I've got one of those for .223 and it works great! I have a Possum Hollow trimmer for .308 and it works good, but leaves some scuff marks around the sides of the brass. Not a big deal unless you're OCD about how purty your rounds look! <laughs>

    Varget

I loaded some 147 gr. pulldowns with 45 grs. of Varget in WC mil. brass. I haven't had a chance to chrono or put them on paper yet, but they function great in my LR308.
  6. I gotta jump on the PB Blaster bandwagon too! Great stuff! <thumbsup>
  7. Sure beats a 9mm Uzi in a briefcase! http://www.theblaze.com/stories/blaze-exclusive-check-out-the-paratus-308-clandestine-breakdown-special-ops-rifle-available-to-civilians-too/
  8. Well, I got it done! Got everything assembled and lined up and used one of the aluminum front sight drifts from Dawson. I used it on the bottom notch so if it marred the aluminum collar it wouldn't be so noticeable. I guess the drift is a softer aluminum than the lock ring, as it worked just fine and didn't leave any marks. I also put a couple of drops of the purple Locktite on the collar threads that YHM sent to use on the front endcap. I don't think the collar will go anywhere. Thanks for the responses guys! <thumbsup>
  9. The charging handle was as stiff as hell on my LR308 when I got it (similar to what you are describing). After putting about 100 rnds. through the gun it is much better. I think it's just a matter of the parts needing to be broke in and developing their wear pattern.
  10. Great link Jon, thanks! My wife watched it with me and said that the doctor was spot on with everything especially his take on administering crystallites. She is an RN and has experience in both trauma and ICU and was extremely impressed with this guy.
  11. Meaning when the wife is out of the house! <lmao> Don't forget to delete the pics afterwards! <thumbsup>
  12. Thanks Johnny, sounds like a good idea. I've got a couple of square aluminum punches that Dawson Precision sends with their dovetail pistol sights that should work good for that.
  13. Happy birthday brother! <thumbsup> I know how you feel, my wife & son got me an LR308 20" for Christmas.
  14. Hey thanks for the tip brother! I'm going to Las Cruces next Friday and it just so happens Harbor Freight is on the way! <thumbsup>
  15. As some of you know, my youngest is going into the Marines in October. He says he is afraid this is what will happen if he gets deployed! (My wife has already said she doesn't care what global cell phone service costs, she's gettin it!) <lmao>
  16. Hell yah! You get bucked off you climb back on that horse and ride! <thumbsup> When I high sided my Harley Ultra I was gonna get back on and ride back home, 55 miles. When I rolled over onto my hands & knees all those broken bones that were crunching and grinding said oh no you're not! <dontknow>
  17. Anybody here have the wrench for the Yankee Hill Machine AR15 free float tube locknut that they wouldn't mind loaning out? Just picked up a YHM Smooth FFT for my AR15 and that lockring looks like something I could really booger up quick without the right tool! :o <lmao>
  18. Jon is correct, if you crimp the Berry's bullets you'll see your accuracy go down the tubes. The plating is pretty thin and the general recommendation with them is that you only crimp enough to remove the bell on the case mouth. That is why a lot of the IPSC guys won't use them.
  19. I'm in the same boat brother! <munch>
  20. I dunno Tom, for some reason I just can't picture you 'dabbling' in anything! <dontknow> <thumbsup>
  21. I resemble that remark! :ugone2far: <laughs>
  22. Wasn't river dancing, but it was something almost as stupid! :P
  23. Since I'm retired I can help out too! Have to be a sit down job for the next couple of weeks though, I broke my foot! <lmao>
  24. Glad I could help, Rene!
  25. Great link Tom, thanks! <thumbsup>
