  1. Looks like a revolver with a couple speed loaders on the front of the holster. Possibly some sort of butt stock attachment on the bottom of the grip??????
  2. Had me one of those badass cats, she would jump right on a dogs head biting and raking those back claws so fast it was a blur. Couldn't have any horse play around her, she would join in if I grabbed someone but held nothing back , everyone called her "The Bitch" Just lost her kitten this summer after 22 years but she was a real mellow cat, her mom only made it to eight but she was a badass for every minute of it !

This seems to be a country wide theme these days.....I had always thought they were talking about sex, drugs, and rock'n'roll.
  4. Present administration stopped the import using a BS interpretation of the import regulation.
  5. Can anyone tell me anything about the HD in the picture? It was my Great Grandfathers. Family story is the first picture was from the day he brought it home from the Train Station in the crate, second picture was about a year later, I'm not sure it is the same bike even. When he died in the 1970's there was a big 1950's Indian Chief in his garage, first I ever knew of it was the day they dug it out and sold it, I was a pissed off kid that day!

I saw them late 70's, I think, those years are bit blurry, spent all my money on women and drugs so I don't have any tour T-shirts with the date

Kind of theme song for my 20's...........
  10. Wonder if they could delete sold ads? I wouldn't mind the info on my old sales or purchases disappearing and it would make finding the unsold stuff easier.
  11. One at a time anyway............ Gotta stick with the slow and steady, have the wife pretty much desensitized to this slow drip spending on builds.
  12. They must have lowered that price since I looked last week, got one on the way now for a 300 BO build.

  14. Get the blow by blow in this thread; No way should the block need drilled, they are well past the largest size required, I had plenty of room left for alignment error.
  15. Shouldn't be any different than my Geissele gas block on a rifle length gas 16 inch barrel, the port size was what I had to mess with. I opened the gas port up till it functioned with all the ammo types I use, makes it a tad over-gassed with M118LR and the like but it runs flawlessly. Odds are I will be putting a SLR adjustable block on it when I start using a suppressor.
  16. I noticed Geissele makes a weight kit for the buffer, does it break down just like a standard buffer? Never mind, just found a picture of it broke down, looks like standard construction.

  18. There are some solutions for this problem in a thread under the Matrix section. I remember two of the solutions, add a chunk of coat hanger wire to take up the space or thread the hole for a set screw.

  21. I've got the Tac-Ops in both the CQB and standard AR-15 versions. Hands down the best I've used. I have others including the Raptor, BCM, and one with a Badger latch added, eventually they will all be swapped for Tac-Ops handles.
  22. My wife's arthritis took her the opposite direction, she tried an old S&W 36 that had been smoothed up but just couldn't make the double action work for her. She ended up with a P226 and can make the DA on it work. Her mechanics are pretty unorthodox, she can't bend her right trigger finger, among others, so she pulls the trigger with her left finger. It was a rough start but after lots of trial and error practice she can keep a 15 round string on a 10 inch plate at 15 yards now. Two or maybe three mags and she has had enough but she has made weekly range trips a religion.

  24. IMHO don't bother with a pistol grip bipod, bipods are best mounted out towards the muzzle while a pistol grip serves best further in and they tend to be heavy. I've got one sitting in the parts box after trying it out for a good bit and finding it to be a PITA. Looks like a Harris would be the ideal bipod on you set-up.
  25. I have been impressed with the melonite treatment on barrels and bolts. I'm betting the difference in price is mostly due to FN being hammer forged, never had one but they claim better accuracy and longer life with accuracy than other rifling methods.
