  1. Good article with an excellent fact based argument for exterminating wolves, again. I like Elk meat, kill all the wolves, God will sort it out!
  2. No they did that to remove the Indians food source and force them on to the reservations. Diabolical but not stupid. Stupid is reintroducing anything that will harm or kill my grandchildren. Lets just reintroduce smallpox to Europe, it was part of the natural environment at one time....

    Classic!!!!!

    nuff said.
  4. There was a reason our ancestors put a bounty on animals like the wolf....and it wasn't cause they were stupid!
  5. I've got the 308 chamber style laser and the Bushnell that slides into the muzzle, gave up using them due to the large and variable results. If you want to try them I will sell them cheap but with a no returns disclaimer!
  6. Two test were run on the dress for Kenneth Starr's investigation, results for the more basic test were made public and the more in depth test result was not made public other than a note that it was performed. They don't need the dress just a subpoena for the more in depth test results. http://www.wnd.com/2016/10/no-definitive-dna-test-ever-conducted-on-clinton-son/ http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-srv/politics/special/clinton/stories/eviblood092298.htm
  7. Results are well documented, all they need is the paperwork for comparison, no need to retest.
  8. His mother was a prostitute by her own admission, how could he be suprised if she doesn't know for a fact who his father is? Love the press Bill is getting no matter how it works out though
  9. Had a buddy in the service get third degree burns on his ass when the shorts he was wearing melted after lighting a fart, lesson learned-don't light farts when going commando. Funny schit!
  10. Welcome from Iowa, via Pensacola!
  11. With a heavy bench gun like you describe I don't know how much advantage you would gain from a low mass BC, maybe faster follow up shots but unless you are going to shoot competition I doubt you would notice much. I did a low reciprocating mass AR15 build, lots of adjustments on gas, buffer weight, and buffer spring to make it all play well. If you do go that route it would probably pay to stick with JP stuff. Have you called SLR about gas block clearance? They have great CS, bet they will figure it out if they don't already know.
  12. So I order the JP jam nut, caveat is they don't recommend them for use with suppressors. I'm going to give it a go regardless, I have an alignment rod coming from Geissele so I can check before I light it up.
  13. I once got some mushrooms that made me feel like a marshmallow....wild, but didn't get addicted.
  14. Look into some MK319, that will put a hurt on hogs for sure and is designed for short barrels. There's some info on it here on the forum.
  15. I cut a notch for the detent in the Aero buffer tube on my Matrix build so I could get one more turn in and added 50 cents. Put me about 1/8th inch off the bolt catch when back.
  16. Check out SLR blocks, call or email them about fitment issues; http://slrrifleworks.com/index.php?route=product/category&path=57_103_82
  17. Live Free Armory used to be Central Florida Firearms, Chris Reideman builds the rifles from Matrix Aerospace sets. I've never shot one of his builds but used his parts on a 308 and an AR15 build, all good stuff with good customer service. http://www.livefreearmory.com/
  18. Simple solution, REPEAL THE NFA!
  19. I had lots of problems with the QD version of that mount, the cross bolt would stretch then the QD would pop open.
  20. Must be a state by state issue with the Guard. My nephew is our local guard CO and hasn't had any issues there with bonuses. He must be following the rules because he is having a hard time getting and keeping anything, even soldiers!
  21. What's horrible? Might not be ammo related.Take a good look at scope mounts. Do you shoot other 308AR's much? They are a bit different than bolt guns.

    Sum of a bfg

Nice little package for installing BIG holes. No matter what anyone says the picture looks like it shows, the brace was held just off your shoulder, cheek weld only!
  23. The only thing keeping me on the fence with the Geissele buffer/spring set is the proprietary size. I like as many parts as possible to play well together.
  24. I have not been real impressed with the cleanliness factor on my 716. Along with the extra fouling around the gas block the BCG still gets some carbon from chamber gases. I really don't clean my DI guns often, maybe 400-500 rounds or after shooting in the rain or snow and don't see an issue. In the military we used a schit pile of blanks, they carbon up a rifle real good but still didn't see any issues, just extra long cleaning sessions. I've been happy with the sets I've gotten from Live Free Armory, the cerakote job on my AR 15 set is well done. For the 308 set I would buy his LPK to avoid any issues with pivot pin length and bolt catch size.
