  1. This might not be a bad thing for some of us. Kind of like a separation in a marriage we may need some time apart to sort out what we really want then try to get together and see if we can make it work again or just make an equitable division and move on. Careful we don't allow this to become a party thing, that is what they want, divide and conquer. The political elite of both parties are equally at fault for the present state of affairs, we need to ditch them all and not look back. I here the the terrorists father saying he will not miss his son because of what he has done, even the muslim gets it...........
  2. What type of rifle are you going to put on it?
  3. Pot is a great sleep aid!
  4. That would be the William Randolph Hearst mentioned in the articles, he owned most of the paper production, print media, and politicians of the day.
  5. The real background to why pot was banned had more to do with the cheap fiber aspect and racism rather than the actual drug. Mr. Hearst owned huge tracts of timber and did not want the competition that hemp fiber brought to the paper industry, he was also a racist; http://www.drugwarrant.com/articles/why-is-marijuana-illegal/ http://www.ozarkia.net/bill/pot/blunderof37.html I say if you put your life on the line for this country then you can do any drug you choose but then I am a firm believer in personal Liberty and responsibility, the founding principals of this nation and what made it great. is it 4:20 yet?
  6. Hope that is the truth, doubt it though. Like all federal funding it comes with strings attached. This article from a liberal rag doesn't like it either; http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/2014/10/22/president-obama-states-of-emergency/16851775/ More details on the powers given; http://constitutionally.blogspot.com/
  7. So they have declared a "state of emergency" in Orlando. The shooting is over and there are no suspects on the loose. Me thinks the government wants the sheeple to get used to these declarations. This is just the kind of thing the terrorist want, we should just remain calm and carry on with daily life here, the state of emergency should be happening in the islamic world due to our massive retaliation.........
  8. I'm a homophobe, that is an honest medical condition isn't it?????? Hate to see all the deaths but I hope the lefties will start to understand there is no compromise with islam, you either submit or kill them.
  9. Welcome from Iowa, via North Carolina!
  10. My Wylde chambered rifle is comparatively very accurate with everything I've run in it. All my research showed it to be the best all around choice.
  11. I have a mid-length gas on both my 14.7" and 18" rifles. The 14.7" is a light weight setup, adjustable gas block, lightweight carrier, and no weights in the carbine buffer. I run an H2 buffer in the 18". I have a Sig PM400 pistol, pistol length gas system and run an H3 buffer, it was pretty overgassed so the H3 smoothed it out a bunch. I have not had any reliability issues with any of them once I got them running right at the start. None are showing any wear that I wouldn't expect. I'm sold on the mid-length gas system but then I don't really have any experience with a carbine gas system.

  13. Don't bother with soft points, use polymer tips if you need the controlled explosion.
  14. TPB, hell yes
  15. I'd need to check on the statute of limitations on a few things before I said much.........
  16. I've shot several hundred Perfecta 308 rounds, they are on the low side of the power factor, better suited to bolt guns. My Matrix build functions weak but fine, it doesn't have enough umph to run my Sig P716 unless I use the adverse setting.
  17. Seems everyone jumps on the positive spin wagon when someone dies. I'm going to request that my faults be focused on at my funeral, much more for the youngsters to learn from me there...............and lots more entertaining
  18. The Wylde chamber was designed to safely shoot both 223 and 5.56. You originally found it in many match barrels but it has gained popularity across the board. I have an ArmaLite chambered in Wylde and it is the most accurate rifle I own in that cartridge. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/.223_Wylde

  21. I had always understood the bolt, extension, and chamber together create the headspace. I have a 16 inch barrel with a rifle length gas system, runs nice and smooth so there are no hard and fast rules there.
  22. It might be in poor taste but I feel the need to mention Cashus was a convicted draft dodging mooselimb and left wing sympathizer not to mention a loud mouth braggart. Doubt that will be in his eulogy though......... a true American hero????????
  23. So they proved if you break the law you can get a gun without a background check, what a shocking development!
  24. My LGS is getting the paperwork figured out now, 30 minutes from walking in the door the paperwork was done and my second SDN-6 was paid for! Now if I can just get ahold of an Illusion-9 before the rule change I will feel complete.....almost anyway.
  25. Guess I have some already and didn't know it!
