This certainly isn't barfcom and it isn't a private party either, very upfront and public here. It is a smaller membership than many forums but a more knowledgeable group on the subject would be hard to find.

Shot two 5 round groups with the ZQ I recently purchased in Virginia, over 5 MOA at 100 yards while everything else did 1.5 MOA or better. Two years ago I could regularly get 1 MOA with it....something changed.

Are you letting the charging handle fly or riding it forward? I had this issue with a 5.56 build, I took off some fine burrs on the ramps and after cycling several dozen times the issue went away. Use PLENTY of lube!
If I read the article right it is the cheap powder used in the russian stuff that seems to cause the issues with throat and port erosion. I'd be curios to see this same test on the new Hornady steel cased ammo.
I always run a box of everything I can find for cheap ammo just so I know what a new rifle will function with but that's all the steel I'll run. ZQ is very close in price for blasting ammo so I don't see the need to buy the russian stuff regularly.
