Got my P716 back from Sig today. The work order had the correct info this time, FAILURE TO EJECT! They put the "most current dual ejector revision" in it. I'll get it out this weekend and make it hot....we shall see.
Then you've never road a bus from Boston to Provincetown on Cape Cod, I THINK the hookers were guys................only time I wished I was holding a bottle of Purell.
Give them a call....email isn't the way to go with your issues. I'm betting they will get this straight but if all else fails then protest the charges on the card......
Just got this set on the way from Chris at Central Florida Firearms; http://www.centralfloridafirearms.com/product/cerakoted-fde-ar15-receiver-set/ With a stock and a grip I'll have all the parts for a build around one of those d. wilson lightweight BCG's. I'll avoid the Breast guy cracks and weigh it after it is complete and has a ten round group to show for itself ;-)
A bit pricy, you might want to have someone like ADCO do it for you unless you plan on doing several. http://www.bravocompanyusa.com/BRDE-Fixture-for-Drilling-Pinning-Front-Sight-Base-p/brdejig3.htm http://brdengineering.com/products/front-sight-base-fsb-jig
I have not used a large variety but the d. wilson I have in NiB has impressed me and the customer care there is second to none! http://www.dwilsonmfg.com/store/p18/AR10_Bolt_carrier_Group.html
Had to take advantage of this myself after seeing the great quality of the Tac Ops CH. Got the CQB version with the trigger. I've always been a two stage guy since the first time I used one but for the price I thought I should give one of these a try. I know the link is elsewhere on the forum but being a junior enabler.... http://mechdefense.com/products/308ar-com-group-buy-trigger-sale
I gathered there were some issues with the graphic but I didn't see anyone commenting on not firing the 7.62 in a 308, just the opposite "The differences in headspace has resulted in ruptured cases in some rare instances when .308 is fired in a NATO spec chamber." The pressure doesn't appear to be the issue either......... When I purchased the barrel for my Matrix build it was marked 308 but the maker assured me 7.62 would function fine in it... My P716 is marked 7.62 but Sig says 308 is fine........ 90% of what I shoot is 7.62 military ammo but I've shot plenty of 308 in all my rifles and never seen any hints of an issue. I use the same cartridge gauge when reloading, can't say I've seen a gauge or dies marked 7.62 x 51??????? I don't doubt the wealth of experience here telling me I shouldn't shoot 7.62 in a 308 but my brain keeps asking why till it understands.........
Just figured out the SLR comp I was planning on using for an AR-15 build will come up .1 inch short of the required 16 inch. I was hoping the Ballistic Advantage 14.7 inch was going to make it work, close but close don't cut it on barrel length! Looks like an A2 will get me just past the bullchit rule so I thought I'd see if any members have a spare kicking around they don't need.
Lots of different ways to listen, on the computer, with an I phone or I pod. I use a Zune to load them on to then plug it into the car and listen when driving. http://feeds.feedburner.com/FRNetwork
Familiarity, I grew up on SFP scopes. I have a range finder and any location I would be shooting at anything serious I have range cards with dope. If I were military, LEO, or a serious competitor I could justify the extra cost but for me the money is better spent on ammo for most rifles I own.
Check out Matrix, I bought a blem receiver set and it looks and functions great; http://www.centralfloridafirearms.com/product-category/receiver-sets/?product_count=36
I had the privilege of getting in on the last of the jeeps. I drove a brigade commander that just flat refused to turn in his jeep for one of those Chevy blazers, CUCV maybe? That jeep was amazing, lightweight go anywhere and took a beating! Wonder what one in a crate like that is worth?
