I had to cut a notch in the Aero buffer tube for my Matrix set. It was too deep and didn't reach all the threads. added three quarters but after the notch I only needed two, gave me about an 1/8 inch clearance from the bolt catch when the buffer was bottomed out.
Ran 100 rounds of the 9mm this afternoon when I got home, no issues with function in my 226. A little dirty but no more so than other cheaper range ammo and the accuracy is right there with the Federal Champion I usually shoot. Hope to have time to burn through a couple boxes of the FGMM Sunday morning.
The Magpul looks good, wish they made them in FDE. If the Troy sights are to tall then I might grab them. The BoBro are thin for sure, couldn't get much thinner than that.
Why not just get the LPK from Chris at Central Florida Firearms, that way you know it will all play well together; http://forum.308ar.com/profile/14883-riedeman-firearms/ http://www.centralfloridafirearms.com/product-category/firearms/
Doesn't look like they make them anymore; http://www.bobroengineering.com/ I found one place that had the front sight but the rear is the one I really need...............
And not allowing things like this to weed the gene pool is stupid...............I did a face plant from one of those at about age 10 myself, never told Mom how I got the cuts and scrapes for fear she wouldn't let me ride it anymore...........never happened to me again either!
Does anyone here have a set of Troy Micro folding BUIS, I need the height from the top of the rail when folded? https://troyind.com/products/micro-set-m4-front-and-dioptic-rear-fde I'm looking for the lowest profile I can get in a set of FDE colored folding BUIS. Midwest has some at .4375" but nobody else wants give the numbers in the descriptions.
At least they are going after criminals unlike the raid on Ares Armor. 80%'s are another example of why we need to push for the repeal of the NFA, anything short of that is a waste of times and a compromise of our Liberties granted in the constitution and by God.
Not much more in price, polymer, but a top notch reputation, good customer service, and no finish issues to worry about; https://www.primaryarms.com/Magpul_PMAG_20_LR_SR_GEN_M3_7_62x51_Magazine_Bl_p/mag291blk.htm
A good finish can be just as functional as aesthetic, prevents rust, slicker surface inside, grippy on the outside. If they skimped on the visible part then what did they do for a spring????????
Wife called to tell me 500 rounds of 175gr. FGMM and 1,000 rounds of 9mm arrived at the house today......figures I'd have to work through the weekend for the first time since last winter........
If I could get one of those for half the retail price I'd jump on it....but when I can get a 10T for less money I can't bring myself to buy the bolt gun. If you ever see them going on clearence let me know!
