These are the kind of fights the NRA needs to put their full weight behind, repeal the NFA not just the registry.

When Nixon took us off the gold standard it all became just numbers on a balance sheet. They can adjust the numbers in a myriad of ways, whatever suits their purpose. I'm a firm believer in turning every number on the balance sheet I can into a hard asset, like 7075 aluminum,Carpenter 158 steel, 516R stainless,brass, copper, lead,etc............the guberment or the sheeple are always welcome to come and try to collect their "fair" share of those assets from this cracker..........

Have you talked to Xcaliber about the 5R rifling? I'm not sure I exactly understand it all but they couldn't give me 5R in a 1:10 or 1:11, it is only available in 5R:7? I was surprised they couldn't do it in the slower twists but then I haven't been able to find any info I understand that relates this 5R rifling shape to twist rates.

Sig sells the 716, I have the P716, a pistol version. They will not even sell me an extra extractor spring so good luck using there system to build with!

The more I looked at it the more I liked the Slim Line stock, angle on the butt, solid center for extra whacking durability, and the cheek weld looks very similar to the ACS. I'm hoping it locks up good and tight. I gathered I can run the Super gas block without pinning it for awhile, still holding out hope I can collect a stamp...........if not the next legislative session then I'll dust off and oil Dad's drill press. With the sale at Primary Arms the Geissele block wasn't much more than the other comparables. Once I get things together and running right I have to decide if I'm still going to CeraKote it FDE or just stick with the furniture for color????????? I've got a 4 day weekend next weekend so I'm hoping to to get the barrel warm by a week from Labor day.

Yep, lions only get a buffalo when they can gang up on a weak one that is separated from the herd, the guy couldn't even come up with a rational analogy for his case. The group I dealt with were just kids, a crazed father kicking the poop out of there door while yelling threats of feeding them there balls was enough to spook them into running. I didn't have a gun on me, due to the previous conversation I had with Police any incident could have been called premeditated.
