  1. A plastic one like this? https://www.rcbs.com/priming-and-powder-charging/scale-and-powder-accessories/powder-funnel/547.html New in 1978 and never a glitch for me.
  2. Welcome from Iowa! Looks like an earlier one with that longer barrel, high end barrel, lots of attention to detail during the build, you have a winner there
  3. Welcome from Iowa!
  4. Try a little chamber polishing. Flitz on a chamber mop and chucked in a drill. It will highlight any irregularities in the chamber as well.

That should be the goal, it would work great right now if you could find a local butcher that could fit you in sooner than a year. I and a few others have done some research on what it would take to get a government approved butcher shop set up, you are looking at near a half million for a basic set-up to get started, you can lower that by going more manual labor but production would never cover the overhead. The real solution is something similar to what Texas did recently on the 2A, produced in a state it is consumed in should mean pure state jurisdiction and NO feds, if the state decides they need the elaborate regulations and inspections of the feds then fine, if your state decides we are all adults and can decide for ourselves who we want to buy meat from then that's fine to. Hell they could have a dual system, one inspected for export sale and a stay the hell out feds rule for in state sales. I'm sick of watching my brother in law go broke trying to raise a product I can barely afford with the only thing standing in the way of the market correcting itself is government.
  6. Amen! That's the truth on the ground, the reality of what they have done and do, not what they say the will do or claim they have done. LIBRTY FIRST!
  7. No, looks like your buffer is hitting the buffer detent instead of coming to rest on the carrier. The only time the buffer should be in contact with the detent is when the upper is opened up. Check to see if you carrier pushes the buffer off the detent just as the upper closes. If not an offset buffer retainer may be in order. https://gallowayprecision.com/offset-buffer-retainer-for-AR-15-rifles
  8. You would think that would be important.
  9. Made for 50 BMG but I figure it will work fine in my old black powder
  10. I got a box from HSM years back that had a bunch of split necks that looked like that. I think it's just a QC issue with the manufacturer, poor annealing or just bad brass from the start maybe.
  11. I have to recommend a deep dive in our archives, lots and lots of eye opening reading for you on just the topic of buffer weight alone. Read up, you need to get the basics down before expecting a from scratch build to function.
  12. Ferrari Backpack DIPA with Riwaka, Strata, Citra, Sabro, and Amarillo hops, a collaboration from Toppling Goliath and Lua Brewing. Aroma is citrus but a very sweet floral citrus. Hop BOMB alert! This schit is loaded with citrus, tropical fruit, floral, grassy dank, every flavor you think of when you think IPA and some I couldn't have thought of. Starts out with a creamy orange pop citrus, hints of tropical fruit chime in then a nice fresh pineapple that fades, you think your done but no, a touch of pith goes quickly to a tartness I am not familiar with in a beer, gooseberries came to mind? It finishes with dank, floral and grassy but a bit different, must be those funky named hops I have never heard of. Sticking with the high class theme of this beer I proclaim it an orchestra of hops!
  13. Yep, Kansas hung that guy out to dry. All a bunch a feelgood crap if the state won't back it up, we shall see where Texas falls.
  14. No spacer in mine, make sure the bolt isn't too long.
  15. Not their suppressor cover but their rail cover will work.
  16. So you admit it's just a psy-op then? https://www.sgtreport.com/2021/05/pentagons-ufo-psyops-fuel-russia-china-war-risk/
  17. Looking at who is selling this I would say it is a legit deal. These guys bought up all sorts of rifles from Armalite before Mark Westrom sold it, betting that's when they got it. Sadly Iowa doesn't allow sales of FA to the public so I didn't even have to look. Wonder if @mrraley can enlighten us as to it's history, the flattop would make me think it was from around his time with the company.
  18. It should handle it as far as holding up but your hand might not fare as well.
  19. I wasn't even anywhere near the fence until Iowa legalized suppressors, instantly went all in.
  20. You are gonna want one of these. https://www.blackhillsgear.com/store.html#!/Black-Hills-Gear-Hand-Guard-Wraps/p/85656497/category=0
  21. I have a Matrix 308AR receiver that does that with Lancer 10's and 20's, also saw a couple that were picky about the bolt catch style. Still a badass magazine though.
  22. Makes them better, if it's a weapon you want to manipulate fast or with gloves the FA does nothing but get in the way 99.99 percent of the time.
  23. MOE rifle stock right? They have holes for these. Seems like these used to come with most Magpul stocks that used them. It also has two holes and a slot inside where you would mount a mono pod, must have something going on there for it. https://magpul.com/sling-mount-kit-type-1.html?mp_global_color=118
