  1. Welcome from Iowa!
  2. Hell yes! I thought they were gone when they disappeared from the 75% off page, they just moved them back to the profit side
  3. Wilson Combat TRIM is drying up, only the 10 inch DPMS and 12 in. AR-10 left, no rail sections, just one with each rail. I should grab another couple 10 inch for those shorter builds.
  4. Ok, broke the one a day rule. Churro Sombrero, Mexican style chocolate stout from Clown Shoes. Cocoa powder and cinnamon on the nose. Flavor starts the same, dark chocolates, creamy cocoa, the vanilla stands out in the middle, hints of coffee and a bit of smoky goodness in the finish. Another beer that looks and tastes much heavier than it actually drinks.
  5. Had one that ate batteries but they replaced it without question. Know of two other rifles that wear Bushnell red dots and no issues.
  6. Oktoberfest Marzen Lager from Left Hand Brewing Company. Big banana aroma up front, hint of malty sweet. Good beer, some mild bitter up front but creamy from the start as well. The creamy goes to that banana and bubblegum kind of sweet then finishes with a mild and clean touch of bitter. For all the rich flavors the beer lays light in the belly, a true fest beer.
  7. I shot up a bunch of their M80 ball, average ammo, good for the price I gave.
  8. The man leads the way, no bullshite here! https://www.larue.com/products/defend-the-republic/?mc_cid=3d4a75ad00 Maybe it's supposed to be in the politics section?............ to bad we can't put that sale in a banner up top.
  9. AR pistol in 300 BO with SDN-6 suppressor, it's a pistol but grab the right magazine and and it can stretch out a bit.
  10. I had the same experience with my Superlative block. Maybe try it on the restriction side, I know it defeats the purpose of the block that way, I think they should be more upfront about the by-pass side not being adequate for 308. Wish they would give us a 308 version with by-pass I run a couple 308 rifles with suppressor, no adjustable gas block, and a heavy buffer, they both function fine with or without the suppressor, just a little harder on brass with the suppressor on.
  11. I always did better with tests than daily homework, looks like I may have a New Years resolution.
  12. How much math do I need to know to do this stuff? I followed a little here, kinda tuned out the techy stuff but getting an good example of the mechanics of getting a license, thinking I need to learn this stuff but I really don't need more number crunching in my life?............

    Hello

    Welcome from Iowa, via Kansas!
  14. I buy stainless coil pins in bulk from this guy; https://www.ebay.com/itm/21-ROLL-PINS-SPIRAL-COILED-ROLL-PINS-COMBO-PACK-THREE-7-PIN-SETS-FOR-3-GUNS/152041501374?hash=item23666132be:g:fwQAAOSwqu9VQEYT I don't use these in the bolt, for that I stick with Armalite and D. Wilson but he stopped selling to the public now, not sure if Armalite still sells pins, glad I bought all the extras I did years ago.
  15. Saw on Full30 he was headed to the ER, hope he gets the proper care 🙏
  16. Got the one I always wanted, Dad’s S&W 59.
  17. A bizarre beer for a bizarre day, Blackberry Cream Pop DIPA from Decadent Ales, brewed and canned by Dorchester Brewing Co. Boston Mass. for Decadent Ales and distributed by 12%. I never realized blackberry had a smell but that is what I think it smells like….the power of suggestion maybe? Tastes like blackberries on ice cream, or as close as a beer can be. Has a touch of bitter at the finish that balances the creamy sweet. Cured my after dinner sweet tooth and gave me a moments respite from thinking about how fuqed this country is……

  19. A real steal right now on Amazon; https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/151865472X/ref=ppx_od_dt_b_asin_title_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I should add, from the site; "25% of this book's proceeds will be donated to two military charities: the Special Operation Warrior Foundation and the Sua Sponte Foundation."
