Just throwin my 2 cents in. I run an older Eotech 553 on my MK18 SBR. It'll bang steel easily at 100 yards (actually farther) with both eyes open. I use it as a "go to" for playing with the steel gongs at the fall dessert shoots. In all fairness, I haven't worked with any of the Romeo sights though. So I can't really give an honest comparison. Congratulations on the new granddaughter Cliff. They're always pretty fun. I know the two of mine are fun to be around. Hope everything stays good with her.

Finally got around to working up a terminal schedule, along with a quick hand drawn wiring schematic. I knew that it wouldn't be too much longer before I completely forgot everything that I did. Go figure. It's Sunday, wash day here at the R2 compound, so that's what nudged me to finally get this done.

That whole thing was like fingernails on a chalkboard to me. And I only made it about 2 minutes into it before I shut it off.

^^^^ Watch out for that guy. He does weird stuff like drive across country with some weird gun-toting guy that he never met before. But, of course, now after almost 5 years, he knows that weird gun-toting fool a little better. But keep your eye on him none the less.

Yep. I've got a 10B A2 carbine from the mid-2000's. I'm still a fan of the original A2 look. This was after I swapped the original handguards out to one of the Armalite 2-piece rails. I've put it back to the original factory plastic ones since then. Back to just a plain "factory" battle rifle.
