  1. Yep. I already had 400 rounds shipped out to my sons place in Nevada. This was just a bonus case of another 200 rounds just because. But I appreciate the thought brother.
  2. Some last minute Grendel ammo for the desert meet-up. I mean, you can never have too much.
  3. Down here, at least in the DC area, elevator techs/fire alarm techs/control techs, we're all in the same approximate wage range. After all, all of our stuff (equipment) is doing the same thing. Just for different applications.
  4. I'll throw in a couple bonus pics of some little stuff. Still night and day difference from what was started with, and what was left once completed. These were for some perimeter fan driven duct heaters. We built about 30 of these using 18x18x4 junction boxes. This was a typical AHU panel. Not a lot happening here since we communicate directly with the units instead of using relay logic to control them. About 20 of these were built over the course of the job.
  5. Couldn't have said it better my brother.
  6. Here's a shot of the temp work station that I was using. Once planting myself in one section of the penthouse area, I was able to drag out a 2nd monitor. I can't tell you how much easier that it makes it sometimes. More wiring. And it's slowly coming together. And finally. The finished product. It takes quite a bit of work from the initial destruction of the old system. But I'm also kind of anal (go ahead and start the jokes) about how I build the new panels out. I like them clean and organized. Plus I leave plenty of documentation hung on the inside of the panel doors ( I even laminate the panel schedules). I do this mostly to help "the next guy" that ends up coming behind me to try and fix something. That.....and I'm usually that "next guy". So yeah. A little bit of nerdiness, combined with some tech $hit and this is what you end up with. Now I'm cleared to go help blow up a little section of the desert that we all know and love. As you were ladies.
  7. So we've been trying to finish out this fuking job at the HQ of the small business administration, that one of our other guys and I have been on for the past year. This building is literally a stones throw away from the Capitol building. Needless to say, I flip off the Capitol on a daily basis as I drive by. Then the Senate buildings as I drive by them. But I digress. So I've been labeled as showing panel porn from the likes of degenerates such as Eric in the past. I figured that I'd throw up some pics of the last primary mechanical room that we just finished. That was my last big hurdle to get finished before going on the annual Arizona desert retreat to the SDTF. So.........on to the nerdiness. We had to start by temporarily throwing in some new controllers to actually run some of the $hit that was there. Then we ripped out the old panel and cut a trough in to give a little space, then the new panel. Then, the wiring and control modules.
  8. Well, as you can tell. I'm more of a salty kinda guy rather than sweet. insert jokes here ya savages.
  9. As you stated, we need to untie his hands and let Mr Darwin get back to work. This kind of stuff will slowly fix itself over the long term.
  10. What is this 22 caliber that you all are talking about?
  11. What? You saying you wouldn't enjoy a slim jim, some beef jerky or peanuts while on patrol? Snacks RULE!
  12. Welcome aboard Doug. I've used Noveske barrels in quite a few of the rifles I've built over the years. Most of them for specific SBR's. Other than that, I've used some Armalite barrels, being an Armalite guy, for some carbines (16") and a couple SASS barrels (20"). Granted the SASS barrels use the Armalite adjustable gas system. But other than that, companies like ballistic advantage, faxon and of course Daniels makes some very nice barrels.
  13. Welcome aboard.
  14. It was heavy overcast and rainy in this area. Didn't even know that the sun still existed.
  15. Welcome aboard from Maryland.
  16. Totally agree brother. Between the Obama payoff and other crap like that cuties little girls nonsense that they completely endorsed. Netflix has chosen their side obviously.
  17. This round goes to the Cunuck. I think that press release was stating that they had chosen a spot for the Canadian Headquarters of the company. Being a global company, they have major offices all over the planet. But when you look through the annual report, it states right at the top that they're based out of California. https://ir.netflix.net/financials/annual-reports-and-proxies/default.aspx
  18. Looks like it's adjusting (something) from front to back. Brakes? Torque? Fuking Icons. Why can't they just print what it is above it? Great vehicle find though Eric.
  19. Wow. I mean.................................................................................Wow. I think I'm actually speechless. This is up there with the tro-lo-lo guy.
  20. We don't need no stinking fuses.
  21. Leave it to my fukin State to do something stupid like this. I'd like to say that I'm surprised, but...................................... Yet another reason why I hate EVERYONE and EVERYTHING!
  22. The man does nothing but state the obvious.
  23. Big or not.......I'm looking forward to finally meeting you face to face brother. Pants down hug included of course at no extra charge.
  24. Well. Coming from a lazy cook, it looks like you destroyed your kitchen today. I mean.......just look at all of that $hit that you've gotta clean up now. On the other hand. Being someone who has had the pleasure of enjoying the end result of your cooking/smoking expertise...............it looks like you've done good brother. I've got to make my way up to your neck of the woods sometime. The closest I've been to your area was Milwaukee back in the late 80's for some Johnson Controls training. Yeah yeah..........go ahead and make some old man jokes ya fuker.
