Just watched a very cool series of shows on PBS, it was Franklins BBQ, great central Texas spot, this has nothing to do with the fact I attended UT I promise, but he delved into building smokers and different meats, etc etc, was a great show, highly recommended!

I own many Seekins products and visit Katie and Glen from time to time, the day they finally released the forged upper I was on their doorstep!.Haha. I work in the Puget Sound market from time to time and look forward to visiting the AP plant and getting to know them. (BTW this M5 receiver set locks up tight and appears to be very well made.)

Free market pot is/was much better system. The thing we wanted was decriminalization, not legalization. Decriminalization means its like corn or soy or tomato's, legalization makes it like booze, taxed new bureaucracy, etc. Don't get a medical marijuana card and go try and buy a gun, won't happen. The whole thing sucks IMO.

The country is filled with Aaron Lewis', about 2:30 he lays down why the guy in the video will never realize his ideals. Kinda cool to see Charlie Daniels and George Jones in there...

No I haven't JT. I have talked to Dustin extensively regarding several barrels I have bought from them, and about this one in general, but I just researched what I wanted and assumed they could do it. Will talk to him on Monday and let you know what I come up with.

LOL, I hate those kinda guys... ;-) It's funny you mention that, cause I have a LWRC M6A2, and was just chatting about the merits of the piston driven design with a nay sayer. What a coinkadink. I have never had any issues with that gun, and I gather from being on their forum that getting parts is not an issue... expensive, but available, but I will investigate it further and report back. Would be cool to build a 308AR piston gun some day!

JC Higgins was a good guess. I have one just like it. Could be a lot of things, but I will guess its a... Stevens? So many of those type were sold under all sorts of manufacture, Sears catalog would have had a half dozen alone. Hard to say. ;-)

Got the AP LPK today, so just waiting on the AGL package to arrive so I can assemble my lower! PRS, JP silent buffer, X-Caliber barrel, SLR gas block and a hand guard to go, and we'll be posting range report pics!

Well they make absolutely nothing, so ya the factory gun parts with the PSA stamped on the side should run fine, if the customer service from PSA is adequate enough to support it.

I've always figured its like LPK's, AR lower's or .22 bricks. Rather buy em at market rate and have em sitting around, than need em and pay out the ass or not be able to get em at any cost. +$200 to own those items is an either or proposition, its either a "That's just f'ing obscene" on one hand, or a "Can't write that check fast enough" on the other... Haha Though I find it despicable our rights have been infringed upon to the degree that they have, I fall into the latter category. ;-)
