That was fairly entertaining. And sort of indicative of how I have noticed many gun writers put stuff out.....no real end to the story, lest someone gets pissed off and "forgets" to buy the next month's rag....

For buffalo shooting (steel targets mind you) we would just either stain the wood or use old leather glove fingers (cut off both ends to slide leather around dowel) for the rifle rest...whichever one felt like doing. And just drill a small hole through both sticks to place the brass pin for the pivot point/hinge area.....lots of ideas how to skin cats like this.

In ND, the firearms laws are sort of mixed up for hunting while carrying concealed in a vehicle, and confusing to say the least. I am not even going to get into it, but one has no excuse for having the firearm in a non legal condition while in a vehicle here....and every year people are arrested. Ignorance, forgetfulness, nor belligerence are not excuses for doing such things in the eyes of the law.

Shoot, I have more stuff than the wife..... New pad is awesome, 3.5 stall garage, ZERO steps, and built the way I like it!

How about just tried to figure out where anything is in a 45 ft line of packing boxes that is setting in my new garage.....and then get the house stuff in first, build a reloading room, restock shelves, ......oh my......moving is sooo great!

Magwa, You are right to question the politicians beliefs in this country, for it has become nothing more than an enrichening tool for them. Either money or power, this is how they use our country. One only has to look back in history to see how politicos have treated us mere mortals....and I mean even farther back than the treatment of the Natives, and not just in America.
