  1. 🧐
  2. While we do have a national military cemetery in Ottawa( capital) which serves the Canadian version of Arlington, it is more common for Canadian military personal to be buried were they fought and fell or in their home town. Vimy Ridge is probably our best know memorial ( Battle of Vimy Ridge WW1, France) the battle is considered Canada's first military action as a nation vs part or a British Commonwealth group. Located on Hill 145 were the brunt of the battle was fought. Traditionally Canadian towns will have a Cenotaph as a gathering spot on 11 November to pay our respects. My local Cenotaph
  3. I've been fortunate enough to visit Arlington along with the Vietnam memorial which I found particularly moving/somber even though I have no direct connection.
  4. You sure it's not your mouth salivating at the thought that it's served up in coon fat gravy? 😱
  5. I see your canned chicken and raise you
  6. Buying a tool that you know will not do the job is money that's wasted rather then going towards buying what works.
  7. I think I'm the one standing corrected, I made assumptions as to the definition of 'threads' and we all know what happens when one assumes 🙂
  8. Looks like a great way to spend the day.
  9. While I'm partial to Montreal Steak spice I have it on good authority that Dillo Dust is the go to for 308 seasoning...
  10. This one's mine, only semi auto
  11. The Electrical code book up here has two tables with torque settings bases on size, application, type of bolt. The big gear comes with manufacture's specs, something as basic as grade 5 vs grade 8 bolt, dry or lubricated are other factors.
  12. Get a good night sleep, I hear the repo guys are coming by to collect the furniture... something about unpaid bills
  13. You're assuming he even got it that high
  14. He might be pre approved for a credit limit increase if you don't ask you don't know
  15. Talk you out of it??? Brother we are here as a support group
  16. Only gonna cost me US$41.7 as I'll be paying CAN$50 Hopefully he'll use the money to buy proper size spandex shorts rather then the current 2 sizes to small pair he's currently wearing 😱
  17. If you're not sure of the answer... then that's is always the right answer
  18. Bird's name is Cunuck( no relation) from- https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/british-columbia/crow-knife-crime-scene-1.3600299 The crow has quite a reputation in Vancouver and its antics are regularly chronicled on social media, including a dedicated Facebook page that has a profile photo of the bird holding a knife in its beak. Earlier on Tuesday, police had shot a man near Hastings and Cassiar streets. They were called to the scene of a car engulfed in flames. When they arrived, police said, they were confronted by a man with a knife. Shots were fired and the man was arrested. Police shooting, car fire, shut down Hastings and Cassiar Vancouver Courier reporter Mike Howell said he saw the bird — which had a red tag on its leg as does Canuck — swoop in and pick up an object from inside an area cordoned off by police tape. "A cop chased it for about 15 to 20 feet, and then the crow dropped it and took off," Howell told CBC.
  19. Unfortunately...
  20. All thumbs are fingers but not all fingers are thumbs...
  21. I ran into that with my '83 Cherokee Chief WT, it ran an AMC 360, just cause Chrysler bought Jeep in '87 the Chrysler 360 parts are not interchangeable.
  22. You'll find drill bits more accurate for measuring, of course a pin gauge set is the best. Also the size of the Allen key is based on the dimension across the flats( 0.321") not across the corners(0.355")
  23. Terminology and context matter, this is a board primarily for 308ARs so being 'more' correct matters. Kinda like going on a 4x4 site talking about your Jeep and asking about parts/upgrades and getting upset when someone points out just cause you drive a 4x4 it's not automatically a Jeep
