  1. My grandpa kept a salt shaker full of sulphur in the glove box of his truck. Sprinkled the sulphur on boots and ankles before going in the woods. No ticks or chiggers.
  2. PSA 9mm pistol kit. 4" barrel. 5" rail w/flash can. Adjustable pistol brace.
  3. The PA10 I bought had the rifle lower w/the fixed stock. The upper was 18" with midlength plastic handguard and a front sight. The rifle ran everything I fed it as it came from the factory. I did change out the gas tube to a longer length. I also installed a LaRue MBT-2. This week I installed a free float rail and low profile gas block. None of the changes I made were necessary to make the rifle run. The carbine stocked lowers seem to be where most of the problems arise.

    Rain

We had a record amount of rainfall last year. This year is on track to beat that. I need to cut hay but without 3-4 days of no rain and some sun to dry it out there is no point in cutting it. Maybe next week.
  6. Well I finally found time to install the rail and low profile gas block that arrived a week ago. PRESMA® LR .308 M-LOK SERIES SLIM FREE FLOAT HANDGUARDS, 12.5" DPMS LOW PROFILE From justrails.com Fits well and attaches to barrel nut with 3 bolts. The PA10 is now just a bit lighter.

  10. I will try again next year.
  11. You need a Ford Super duty . I work where they build them. Trailers like that no problems.
  12. I am NE of Shelbyville about 10 miles.
  13. One shot case lube. Spray it on. Resize and reload. No need to clean it off.
  14. If a rifle buffer will not work with a collapsible stock. It appears the buffer tube needs to go in 1 more turn. Just measure the inside depth of the tube. You might need to notch the bottom of the tube to clear the buffer retaining pin. There are several threads with exact measurements and buffer weights. Search is your friend.
  15. I do not have any problem with Nosler 165 gr polymer tips on my 308. The real long distance shooters have some of the tips melting. Hornady eld's use a different polymer so the tips don't melt.

  17. I think beltfed has a few diamondbacks maybe he knows what parts fit.
  18. Primary Arms has the Armalite buffer tube and Armalite buffer in stock. Just no spring. I didn't check Brownells but that is where I bought my Armalite Ar10 spring I put in the 9mm build.
  19. I own 2 but they are only for hunting season here in KY. They should last a loooooong time.
  20. I had a DS Arms fal style pistol in 308. It was fun to shoot. Not really much louder than rifle. This was before pistol braces came into use. I sold it to a friend who made it In to a SBR. I might have to get another one if someone makes a folding pistol brace for them.
  21. Low profile Yankee hill gas block, M lock rail and barrel nut. I'm going to free float the PA10. Primary Arms has ar15 buffer tube sets for $15.99 so I bought 3. Only have 2 lowers to build at this time. Bear Creek had a complete 300 BO upper for $209.00 so 1 of the lowers will need put together for that upper.
  22. Battery holders arrived just fine. Thanks!
  23. Another 100 rounds of Hornady Black for the Grendels.
  24. My tickets arrived Saturday. Thanks.
  25. Magpul D50 ran just fine. Not hard to load. Didn't he the bolt back when empty. I will run some more ammo through it another time. 50 rounds seems to take forever to go though.
