Several farms around us have donkeys. We have the Pyrenees for varmint control. The donkeys just eat what the cows eat.

Doc get a donkey. They hate yotes and will keep the yotes away from the cows. Donkeys don't get along with dogs too much either so keep the dogs out of the pasture with the donkey.

That all depends on where the barrel manufacturer drilled the gas port. Some seem to drill them AR-15 rifle length and some drill them AR-10 length and some drill them whever the fuk they feel like it.

A couple of thoughts. Drill out the gas port. You have an adjustable gas block so you can close it down if your getting too much gas at a latter date. Till you get the guns working don't use change more than one thing at a time. How do you know what made things work or worse if you are changing more than one thing at a time. Dip your BCG in a pan of Mobile One motor oil overnight. Then just wipe off the bolt face and shoot it. Till you get it locking back just load one round at a time in the magazine. Are you sure that you have a 308 buffer and recoil spring.

Yep the two I shot last were still breathing. A 45 gold dot to the head solved that.

The 90 gr TNT works well in my guns. The Black put a doe right down a year or two ago. I also get good groups w/the Hornady American Gunner bthp. The wolf 100gr steel case does a good job on snapping 🐢.

The DPMS lower parts should work except for the bolt catch roll pin. Aero uses a threaded pin for that. KAK sells a threaded pin that fits.

The handguard that covers the gas block on my 12.5" pistol will not cover the gas block on my 20" rifle. You gave us no information on what you have to work with. Measure from the front of the upper receiver to the front of the gas block and you will know how long it needs to be.

20 rounds are not many. What is the diameter of the gas port? Even with the gas block wide open if the port isn't big enough you won't have enough gas.

A drop of jb weld on a paperclip. Insert in the roll pin and let it set up overnight. You should be able to pull the roll pin out. You can still drill out the blind side and drive it out if that doesn't work.
