  1. Looks good. A stiff mag release is better than one that dumps the mag if you just bump it.
  2. I haven't had any problem with the one I bought BUT I have only loaded it and emptied it twice.
  3. Good job. Here is one I did a week or so ago.
  4. Hi, Please don't take this wrong but you bought race gun parts. I used to work for Deb Cheek she was one of JP's 3 gun shooting team shooters. They make great guns to play games with. Set up for 1 load. Almost everyone that has posted questions about their JP parts not working are using the recoil system. If you can increase your spring rate and open the gas a bit more you might get the desired results. The armalite springs and buffers systems just plain work. Hope this helps.
  5. Hell of a job.

  8. Both of mine are 11 1/16" Both come to the middle of the cut out.
  9. That's just plain weird. I'm getting 2200+ fps out of a 12" 6.5 Grendel w/123 gr factory ammo. Have you slugged the barrel? Maybe bore is oversized and letting gas around the bullet. If the bore diameter is off they should take the barrel back. Just a thought.
  10. Velocities should be at least 500-700 fps more unless they were measured right in front of the target. Tht barrel should do better than 2-3MOA.

  13. This is the one I took out. You can see where it was rubbing on the pin. Almost 10 thousandths thicker than the replacement.

    Bonded!

Put your left thumb along the backstrap before you grab it with your right hand. More to hold on to. I had one of those in 45colt. At 10feet it wouldn't put both barrels on a sheet of typing paper.
  15. Is the rail higher than the receiver or lower?
  16. I agree. This was easier than taking the rifle apart. It will happen in the future.
  17. I had ejection problems with build #2. I changed the extractor yesterday. The new one is about 10 thousandths thinner. It doesn't hit the pin sig put in the extension. Thanks for the idea. 75 rnds downrange today and no problems at all.
  18. Bear Creek Armory makes right side charging 308's. Their barrels are not the greatest most of the time but the rest of the parts work.
  19. After seeing a comment that heminut made about extractors. I looked at the extractors on the Brownells bcg's. There is a mark where they are running into the pin sig put in the barrel extension. I ordered a different extractor and it's almost 10 thousandths thinner than the ones I had in the guns. I am still having problems w/gun number 2 not always going into battery and leaving emptys in the receiver sometimes. I didn't get any pictures when I had it apart sorry. If the new extractor still hits that pin I'll pull the thing apart and knock the pin out.
