  1. shepp - it was just west of SLC in Tooele, at the Ford Performance Racing School complex, although most of the day was well off campus out in the dirt and mountains sketch - the lie-o-meter tells me 16 all day in town, when I drove to STL last Christmas I got 19 on the open road. I do go off-road, for sure, this is my hunting rig, it performs very well. We've had a ton of rain for a while now and this spring has been a mud fest up there, she's gotten her feet very dirty. Towing, if it's relatively regular duty, will do just fine. But if I were towing big loads frequently, I'd have a 3/4 ton of some flavor.
  2. This is my third truck with the 3.5L eco-boost. Believe me, I'm a fan of V8's, but after driving this little powerhouse around for 7 years, I'm not sure I'd go back. There are rumors that they'll swap in the flat 5.2L V8 in the Raptor just before they do a new body in a few years, but I doubt I would swap just for that.
  3. That's an interesting one. Lemme know if it pokes its ugly head out again.

I just heard about the 3-2-1 method this past week, gonna have to try that. Those look real good shepp.
  5. Man, that was an amazing experience! Aside from seeing some of Utah which I'd never seen before, the Ford Performance Racing School did an awesome job on the Raptor Assault experience.
  6. I've forgotten so much about MicroStation, but I'll help if I can. I used it heavily for years, and used to develop in it in UCM and MDL. Now I've been in the ESRI world for 20 years, but I've got some guys at work that use MicroStation every day that I can lean on too.
  7. Website says, Folds of Honor is proud to have a cumulative average ratio of 86% of annual expenses supporting our scholarship program. That's really good. Always worth a look when giving to charities.
  8. Time to leave NJ!
  9. That truck is a beast man, congrats. Looks to be in amazing condition.
  10. Gobble til ya wobble boys.
  11. That's a great looking ride dude
  12. I've sold my past two trucks to the same friend, a 2012 in 2016 with 36K miles on it, and then my 2016 in 2018 with 13K miles. He knows he got a very well-maintained and well-kept vehicle both times. I've also sold two of my Infiniti's to another friend, same deal, super-clean cars with low miles and they knew the full history.
  13. LOL, never saw that before, that's funny stuff
  14. Awesome, thanks. I like that it's a Texas company too.
  15. One of my Lightnings was black, my Mustang was black, my last two FX4 trucks were black. It'll be a while before I have another black vehicle, unless I get one that'll never see rain.
  16. It's called Magnetic Metallic. Just gray, reminds me of the Dark Shadow Gray Lightning I had.
  17. I'm liking it pretty well so far.
  18. I need to rebuild a lowboy blind on our property. I'll hunt from it this year, but it was ready to fall over three years ago, so this will be the last. Anybody found any good components lately? Windows, etc.? I've been looking at using the Shadow Hunter window kit instead of a plywood flap window.
  19. I don't know why I buy trucks so often, the one I just got rid of only had 13K miles on it. Anyway, it was time for a new color, I was done with black...
  20. Gotta give him coolness points for those pants though, come on...
  21. Damn, no doubt. Sadly, that sure seemed like a no-win for the good guys.
  22. Yeah, this one is long in the tooth, I'll lock it down. OP - message me if this is still a viable ad.
  23. Happy New Year gang! Here's to a great 2018!
  24. Nice haul! Among other things, I got a 2-way machinists vise for the drill press. Time to work on my eightie percent'r.
  25. I had about 8 fights the other night in the advanced adult class, i must have left 5 lbs of sweat in my gi. I just turned 49, and it's not so easy any more fighting these 20-somethings.
