FWIW, NEMO and SI-D are right next to each other. The guy who owns SI-D is Richard Sonju. His kids, Josh and Adyn, work for NEMO... Or at least they did at one point. The parts and quality are near identical.

I built with one recently, for a friend. I haven't shot it yet. The melonite finish was really nice. It head spaced well too.

I thought only Armalite used a specific mag catch? I used a DPMS AR-15 catch in my .308 until I upgraded to the AR-10A catch.

Small springs, detents, most triggers, the stock assemblies, pistol grips, gas blocks, and selector switches are generally cross platform compatible.

I think it's funny how many cops watch those shows. I've never seen either. The shithole ghetto I work in, is like an episode of Breaking Bad. I don't need that when I'm home. Besides, my TV has Disney channel images burnt into the screen. As for SoA, I come from a multi-generational cop family. A lot of the old guys I know made a lengthy career around shooting it out with SoA types through the 70's and 880's. I have some great stories that'll never get written online.

Lots of custom houses in NorCal are tankless now. Instant hot water, and it never runs out. I have a friend with a rather large house (approx. 5K Sq ft). He needed two systems for his place. I forget the reason.

Punctuation police are going to get you. I was just reading your post and thinkung, "WTF?? When did Goofball say he had a new baby brother? Did I miss that post? How old is this guy that he can still have siblings popping out??" After reading through the posts I figured out where I got confused and lol'd at how tired I am.

@DRD, The AK, when shooting quality ammo, is actually pretty damned accurate. The function of the weapon does nothing to hinder it's accuracy. The weapon gets a bad wrap from people who only shoot 60 year old mil surplus ammo, or base their opinion on a hand-me-down rifle they saw carried by a poor Skinny in some third world country. The AK is responsible for WAY too many deaths to be considered inaccurate. The rifle was not designed to handle the shape of a NATO casing, so there can be hiccups there, but when fed the tapered casings from the 7.62x39 or the 5.45x39, that rifle is a death machine. With the release of the new Kalishnikov expect to see a lot more interest in the near future. That's supposed to be able to feed NATO and communist ammo alike.
