Yup. I saw that too. You bought an AR15 part my friend. It’s the wrong size part, by about 1/8”. I can see from the pics that it’s not even long enough to engage the magazine Do yourself a favor and order a Phase 5 EBR.... make sure you get the .308 version!

There’s also the $0.75 fix.... it’s not the appropriate fix, but it should work. Just drop 3 or 4 quarters to the bottom of you buffer tube. That’ll give you about 1/4” of space.

Im with 98 on this. Ditch the buffer tube, buffer and buffer spring. Reinvest in an entire Armalite AR-10 setup. The damage is a telltale sign of too short of a recoil system. Your buffer should be bottoming out before your carrier smashes into the receiver like that. If you want to spend the $$$... check out the JP silent captured spring.

What I absolutely love about this stock (it being lightweight aside) was having a preset stock, set to my exact LOP for a standing shot. Then with the push of a button, the stock gives me about 1.5” extra length for a prone shot. If I want “compact” I’ll put a LAW folder on it.

Sorry, I just saw this post. I am not a lawyer, so I don’t give legal advice. It is identified as a “fixed stock”. It does however adjust in length with the push of a button....??? is it worth risking? Are there other options out there? For me, it’s not worth arguing with Ofc She-Bitch and Judge IDGAF.

What are the chances that a Gii upper would fit? It sure would open a lot of possibilities if it did. A Google search shows an old CM901 file on Colts website, but the info was gone. There’s nothing of the LE901.
