I have a Proof ABS carbon fiber wrapped barrel. It's not really "lightweight" by any means. It's lighter than a barrel of equal diameter, but there are definitely lighter barrels out there.
If weight is the absolute goal, and reliability second, bob the hammer and use a titanium firing pin. That not only reduces weight (by grams only) but also speeds up your firing sequence.
I'll guarantee that a drop in is heavier than a standard trigger. I know New Frontier used to make a polymer trigger group. I don't know anything about quality or longevity... but it existed at some point.
The way I see it, you only have one option.... package them up and ship them to me. Heck, I'll even pay for your shipping costs. I'll make sure they get taken care of properly. I figure it's the least I could do.
I remember the time I thought pouring 110 octane race fuel, from a 5 gallon can, onto a camp fire was a smart idea.... I'm not saying that is was a smart idea... I'm just saying It felt smart at the time... that could've been the alcohol too though.
Guys with glass jaws shouldn't make videos like this.
A rifle/pistol can be built to be recoiless. I've seen a guy put a stick against his nose and dump a mag at full auto.... even so, that doesn't make this face-stock a good idea.
I hope he put one of these on a 12g Black Aces Tactical "Firearm".

I was with one of our members, Farkle, when his PWS .308 BCG broke and froze in the barrel extension. We couldn't even mortar it open. He mailed the entire rifle back and they fixed it and mailed it back a few weeks later.
Whoa! Don't know how I missed this one. I've always been a big PWS fan. I almost grabbed a Mk2 recently too. I really like their old 107 model but I may grab something bigger... who knows???
There are thousands of AR and AK pistols in peoples homes right now... The GREATER majority of them have some kind of "brace" attached to the receiver extension (buffer tube)... ATF isn't coming for anyone.

This is not just another chassis system.... This looks like a GREAT "build your own battle rifle" system. Legal in every state!!!
...and this is why!!
You cannot ignore how good the Magpul SGA stock looks on a M1A chassis!
This is what I have on mine, Nightforce NXS 2.5-10x32,

Not sure of the weight, but it feels light. I also use the Nightforce UltraLite Ti scope rings.
