  2. You got to admit it's pretty cool
  3. 10 rounds in a Lancer L5 30 round mag. No modifications needed.
  4. I have an XDs 9mm 3.3" (that I shot once, then my brother borrowed it and conveniently forgets to return it for the last 2 or 3 years). It was a great carry gun... still is... just not by me... bastard!
  5. SilencerCo Maxim-9 Uses Glock G17 Mags and Glock Sights Suppressed with ALL ammo. Remove front baffles if sub-ammo is used. New model coming soon, with integrated laser and light in the bottom of the suppressor unit.
  6. Aside from reloading... since 99.9% of revolver CCW's don't carry reloads... aren't ALL revolvers "technically" ambidextrous? I have a two shot .357 derringer that I do not carry spare ammo for. I do carry a second (or third) gun though, and at least one of them has reloads. Honestly, why not a S&W 43C .22lr? Sure, it's a little bit pricier that others, but... It's a revolver, controllable, and has 8 rounds! She won't be upset with the performance, and will appreciate the cost and fun to practice. A .22lr at close range will FUK someones world up just fine, and multiply that FUK-Factor x8 and you have a complete scenario.
  7. If not sign me up for the standard.... and a blue line, if you have any left..... oh! A blue line with Typhon???!!!
  8. Jacob. Can you make me a single point Nomad for my x39 pistol? its funny. I have your slings on an AK, a shotgun and my Ruger GSR, but I have yet to put one on an AR.
  9. I have Clints XH Rifle buffer. I haven't weighed it yet, but it's advertised as 10 oz
  10. Wasn't this a grenade over XM8 hybrid?
  11. Isn't 5.5 oz the standard? I know my tungsten buffer weighs in at 10oz.
  12. Lol. My buddy's son started with MARSOC last year. He said that he was issued a G19 right out of training. Never even shot the 1911. This plan has been in the works for quite some time.
  13. When it comes to killing beasts with a 308AR, @Magwa may be our #1 source of information on that topic. He's been filling his freezer every year, all year, as long as we've known him... and he does it with that lightweight rifle.
  14. These SOBs get really heavy really fast. If you have the luxury of hunting from a tree stand, or a blind, or you look like Thor, then don't worry about it. If you plan on humpin that boomstick through the woods, you'd better plan your build out with that in mind. I haven't bought or built a rifle with longer than a 16" barrel in years. No need. Last few barrels were 14.5" pencil contour.
  15. I've known NEMO/SI-Defense/Falkor for some time now. They make great products. I don't know anyone that can afford their newer stuff. As good as they are, they might be priced out of the market.
  16. "Bates" is the second half of my favorite pastime. The .308 is sooo much more versatile than the smaller AR15 calibers. You can honestly go as light and small as you want, or as long and heavy as you can hold. Open sights, red dots, extreme magnified optics. Shot mags, full mags, drums mags. Collapsible stocks, fixed stocks, adjustable stocks. I honestly wish there was just ONE optimal rifle to be built. It all comes down to your mission. What do YOU want to do with it?
  17. Anyone remember what this thread was about?
  18. He's waiting for me to make a 300WM version
  19. just sayin
  20. What about an AR chambered in .338LM? I just might know where to find one.
  21. Bare arms
  22. You sunuvabitch!! I literally JUST bought this RMR from optics planet about 2 hours ago. For extra info. I got mine for $413 shipped. The prices have dropped considerably. I may may know a guy looking for one.
  23. He had a decent idea. He wanted a .308 that he could shoot like a 10/22. To be honest, I would've picked a different caliber... 6.5cred maybe? i would have gone EXTREMELY lightweight in the action and controlled the gas at the gas key. Then put a JP silent spring in a PRS stock. I would've scrapped the extra heavy barrel for a carbon fiber wrapped barrel of the same contour. It would give better heat dissipation in the long run. A giant, oversized, tank brake. Then I'd build on that monstrous chassis system. All CMV with a melonite finish, and with a full length top and bottom rail. I believe he had plans for a water cooling system and an air cooling system. That might've been a bit much... but something like JPs heat system would be nice. add a full sized scope and mount with zero regards to weight and size. His goal was a 25 lbs target rifle, capable of rapid long range shots. I see no reason why not.
  24. Rock set + shims > crush washer no heat needed to remove it either. Blue lock tite can soften and release while shooting.
