  1. Just polishing surfaces won't lighten trigger pull, but it may seem like it once it feels "smoother." Changing engagement angles with change trigger pull weights. Or ruin a trigger.

    Ammo?

Possibly. Leave the CWS shell in there (it weighs almost nothing), but pull the weights out of it, whichever you're using (the steel or the tungsten). Shoot it with the heavy buffer and just the shell, and let me know how it goes. <thumbsup>
  3. Amen, Ron, Amen...
  4. Nah - He needs some Tom-Time. I'll fix him. After 3 or 4 days, he won't even go back to CT. >:D I can handle this one. <thumbsup>
  5. I'd put an inanimate object in a sock and beat their ass with it. I'm just sayin'. There's no sense in that. Over that much time.
  6. Not understanding how you took a huge loss, with great news like you've received... <dontknow>
  7. Barrett MRAD, brother, the MRAD... <thumbsup>

    Crazy Weather

Shoulda been over by now, brother. Didn't get hardly anything during this years monsoon. Past couple days were a different story, though.

    I Was...

Driving on my way to drop my boy off at daycare, then hit PT - when the news of the first one hit. Got to PT, told my guys that something was seriously wrong, go home, get into uniform and get back as fast as you can - then the second one hit. Didn't have a good feeling about it, when the first one was hit.
  10. That's very damn cool!
  11. A big Hell Yeah! to that one! <thumbsup>

    Crazy Weather

I think I got your tropical storm, man - more rain in the last two days than a desert gets in a whole year. The NWS Flood Warnings were actually real this time. I went to the garage and dug out the dive gear.
  13. Now hold on, here. When did you build a 300BLK? And, more importantly, where are the pics of said beast? Your work is making me nuts, too, brother - I miss you, in a Bro-Mance kinda way... <dontknow> :))
  14. You guys are a Bunch O' Bastages, that's what you all are... :fawkdance: Dirk, can't wait to get out there, brother!!! :happydrunks:
  15. Mine or Rob's, Brother Mike? I'm running a .30 Cal Spike's DynaComp on the end of mine. My whole topend will be PRI parts, and the only one in that picture so far is the flip-up front sight. I still need the free float rail, upper rail, rear sight, BCG, Gunfighter charging handle, Leopold 1-4 scope and Warne rings for it. I'm well over a grand away from finishing that thing... Well over... :-[
  16. Same here, brother - mine's stuck right here, right now...
  17. Yikes!!! Front tire blowouts scare the hell outta me!
  18. I need to finish my 300BLK so damn bad. I already have several boxes of 125gr Remmy Premier Match to run through it. Killin' me!
  19. ^^^ With that, go one more step. Remove the bolt from the bolt carrier, and slide the carrier into the upper receiver. If it doesn't go all the way forward, it's binding on the gas tube, for whatever reason.
  20. Yep, Armalite AR-10 Carbine buffers come out to the exact same length as standard AR-15 Carbine buffers. Longer AR-10 bolt carrier needs more room in the receiver extension, so Armalite uses a longer receiver extension. DPMS-based guns use a shorter buffer instead, with the AR-15-length carbine receiver extension.
  21. Hell, I even found CCI Standard 22LR ammo - at Wal-Mart - today! Couldn't believe it!
  22. Internal depth is what matters here. The AR-15 part is 7" internal depth. The Armalite AR-10 carbine receiver extension is 7 3/4" internal depth.
  23. Jon, that's sweet!!!
  24. I love this one! <thumbsup>
  25. Bullschit. From my perspective anyway. You know my perspective... C:-)
