  1. You listed two brakes. They don't hide any flash. Here's info on the AAC Brakeout - pick what you like: http://www.google.com/#hl=en&sugexp=les%3B&gs_rn=3&gs_ri=psy-ab&cp=6&gs_id=q&xhr=t&q=AAC+Brakeout&es_nrs=true&pf=p&tbo=d&output=search&sclient=psy-ab&oq=AAC+Br&gs_l=&pbx=1&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.r_qf.&bvm=bv.42553238,d.b2U&fp=8a7c4fdf638273d&biw=1280&bih=687
  2. ^^^ Sounds like there's alot of Officers that don't have anything better to do than make up dumbass regs. After I left A-Stan, I heard about some of the stupid poop that they came up with over there, like lots of people getting tickets for bicycle traffic violations, uniform violations, etc...
  3. Flash hider AND brake? AAC Brakeout.
  4. ;D <thumbsup> <lmao>
  5. Holy poop! $25 for a box of 375 rounds? That poop went up. Limited to one box per customer, per day, too. :o Times are tough right now...
  6. You're passing up a .308 lower, for that?... :o <dontknow> Oh, I saw what you did there, too. I'll file that away, and come up with something for later... <laughs>
  7. Somehow, I knew this would all come back to Drew... <laughs> <lmao> MG, you know he not too proud to blame both you and I for damn near everything, right? Can't believe you guys are giving me more poop about the birthmark... :fawkdance:
  8. Standard pin size is .154". The Geissele pins are .155", and the trigger/hammer are made for that size. Additionally, the hammer has a small circlip inside it, that retains the hammer pin (in a groove in the hammer pin). I've never seen a trigger pin or hammer pin, with a groove in that same location, and the KNS pins don't have any grooves in them. So, you have choices - order up a set of KNS .155" pins (they do make .155" pins), to ensure the trigger works as designed (and, these pins are made of a material that's not as strong as the G pins). The KNS hammer pin will eventually wear out the circlip inside the G hammer. Now, you're stuck with that set of KNS pins forever. Other choice - use the G pins.
  9. I know where they're in stock, right now. Picked one up today. <thumbsup> Nice to see Dane Armory on here - ;D <thumbsup>
  10. Geissele triggers and KNS pins are a bad match. Geissele pins are made of better material, and are a different size. You need that larger size to make the trigger perform the way it does. All G pins are fun to put in a lower - and they lock in there well, in the trigger design. They won't walk.

  12. Terrain, brother, terrain. I miss the terrain - and all the pain that went with the love-hate of earning the respect of that terrain. Kinda like how SV reminds me of a "Little Afghanistan." <dontknow> Not to mention, all the Monterey chicks I slayed when I was stationed at Fort Ord... <thumbsup> <lmao> <laughs>
  13. The Greatest Generation, and Rangers past, kicked these things right in the ass - and went right up them. I can't imagine 18~21 year olds now looking at that, and saying, "I can get right up that..."
  14. I LOVE IT, BROTHER!!! I was wondering if you were going to post the pics! <thumbsup> I'm gonna bake you some cookies tonight, so you can pass them out to people tomorrow...
  15. This could turn into someone's signature, man. <laughs> I'm just sayin'... <lmao>

    Hi

You're a freak, bro - you measure time in how many computers you've killed... <lmao>
  17. OP, just measure the tab on the back of the upper receiver - much easier. That's described in the thread, and has a picture. <thumbsup> That gives you a height-over-bore measurement, but from the top of the BCG instead of from the center of the BCG. Also, when doing precision measurement, the first thing you do it calibrate, or check, your measuring equipment. Not saying this is the case here, with you, but if you're coming up with a non-standard measurement, the first thing you go back to is the measuring device, and check it, before going any further.
  18. Fcuk. I just bought a dedicated 9mm lower. Because I have a 9mm BCG. :cookoo:
  19. Nice!!! <thumbsup> I love you, Roger - in a Man-Crush, Pants-Down-Hug kinda way. <dontknow> <laughs>
  20. I'll have a 300BLK to blast into it before too much longer.
  21. That thing is awesome - and it was made in Monterey, CA. After reading that, then looking at the pics, I'm kinda homesick for Fort Ord... :'(
  22. Awesome!!! Rene...
  23. Air dry sticks to everything - with the proper surface prep. <thumbsup>
  24. I said I was easy, bro. See how quickly we wrecked this thread, too?... <dontknow> <lmao>
