  1. Did you swap over the gas block to the new barrel, or use a new gas block? More importantly, got pics? If you can't get them posted, I can help you with them.
  2. ^^^ Finaly some support around here... <lmao> <laughs> Love ya, brother! <thumbsup>
  3. BWAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAA!!! <laughs> <lmao> Instigator... ;D The blow-backs shoot so damn soft, it's not even funny. <thumbsup> You'll own one of these after this October trip - you'll be so hooked... :o I've been eyeing the Mossberg lever action recently.
  4. . Parts and accessories, that are not part of a complete rifle or complete upper, should ship with 7~10 business days. That's their current policy, and has been for a long time now. 5. Tactical Tailor. 7.62 mag pouches should be in this link, on this page: http://www.tacticaltailor.com/pouches/ammo?Page=2&Items=9
  6. ^^^ Russ is right on the money with that description. <thumbsup> For a mil-spec-type trigger, the ACT is phenomenal. It's no S3G, but it's a damn great $60 trigger.
  7. hemi, I can honestly say that I was not personally responsibvle in derailing this thread right here, and I strongly believe that, too... <laughs> I might have been the reason (read: scapegoat), but I didn't do it. <dontknow> That's that "blame-game" thing... <lmao>
  8. There's a whole lot of poop that civilians don't have access to, as far as personal purchase goes. Until recently, there were certain laser devices, night vision equipment (by type), that was not available for commercial sale. There is still more out there that is not allowed for commercial sale. That's just how it is. I like that the article referenced Andrew Touhy, and his blog - That guy deserves recognition. For those that have been on gun boards for a long time, you'd recognize his username - "87GN." Very solid guy, great reviews, and hard work.
  9. That is one sweet piece of machinery - and very smart, too. <thumbsup> I had no idea that anyone was doing something like that. I think this thread is gonna cost me money... :o
  10. poop ain't even funny... There are ifficially TWO factory rifles I'd even consider buying. The new Armalite 7.62 carbine that takes the Pmags... and ANY OSR - <<< Yes, I did that on purpose. I hope Dick Swan freaks the fornicate out about it. I'd fully buy any LaRue OSR, doesn't matter the configuration. <thumbsup> No other complete rifle is even worthy, to me. :cookoo:
  11. You told ME, or you told RENE?!... Who'd you tell?... <dontknow> You damn sure didn't tell me, you instigator... :fawkdance: :tfg: <lmao>
  12. I'm right there with ya, brother - most of my stuff is "subliminal." They don't even realized what hit them until the card statements come in. At that point, it's too late, and everybody needs "somebody" to blame, especially when explaining it to the old lady... I ditched the "old lady" long ago, and I don't make excuses to anyone - therefore, I'm the scapegoat. <dontknow> It's a sick blame-game, but I'm up for it. <thumbsup> <laughs> <lmao>
  13. There's no bullet in a dummy round...
  14. That's a motivated kid, right there. I can't even tell you how that kind of motivation pushed me through all my stuff - no one was ever gonna outperform me, with all other things being equal. That only comes from inside - intestinal fortitude. That's one badass, admirable quality. I want to meet this kid, one day. When he's on leave, bring him with, brother. <thumbsup> Be proud. :happydrunks:
  15. ^^^ He's the pusher in this one - not ME. You need to understand that, Rene. All I did was report a comparison to another nickel boron coated trigger available over this one, and this ALG far outshines the other one that was previously available, since mid-2010. This poop is NOT my fault... <dontknow> Make your own decision, but blame Greg for any confusion - I'm not any part of this, this time... :fawkdance:
  16. It's still a type of coil spring. Im not talking about anyone's life - I'm talking about springs, and about spring life, period. Load 'em up, because storing them loaded isn't going to make them fail. Prove that wrong, besides common misconceptions, and old military belief. <thumbsup>
  17. You can order a lower receiver, and not be your own FFL - you just have to have the lower shipped to your FFL. Upper should have been able to ship to your house - no reason it can't, legally. Look at Fulton Armory for the upper and lower. They will ship to your FFL. You'd have to send them a copy of that FFL, if they don't have it on file already.
  18. 16" Rainier. Got it. 12" rail will cover, and look damn good on a 16" barrel. Got a few 5.56 rifles like that. The other barrel mentioned here - the Fulton - that one's rifle gas.
  19. I think you avoided my question, brother... <lmao> <laughs> I's bet money that you have one of these printers... ;D
  20. What barrel are we talking about now? We're all over with parts at this time. List the barrel you're thinking about... but, at any rate, a 12" rail isn't going to cover a lo=pro gas block on a rifle gas system... If it's a midlength gs system, 12" will cover. Now, what barrel, at this point?...
  21. It doesn't cover a lo-pro gas block on a rifle-gas system. You'll need the 13.8" to come to the end of a lo-pro gas block on a rifle gas system.
  22. I was under the impression that his presence was mandatory?... <dontknow> ;D
  23. We've been all over this one for a couple days, brother. <thumbsup> http://308ar.com/forum/general-discussion/3d-gun/ You have your own 3D printer, don't you?... ;D
  24. Pic(s) of item for sale - one of the mandatory rules for this section, brother. Just getting that out there before you hear it again. <thumbsup>
  25. You've got a lot to ponder - I wouldn't checkout that cart just yet, until you figure all this out. <thumbsup>
