THAT is the funniest part of the whole meet, and makes it some great times. ;D Next time you guys get out here, try to plan in some time to hit a class at Gunsite (Paulden, AZ). This lady will wear you out - Il Ling New. Il Ling New grew up hunting and fishing, and started guiding for her father's outfitting service as a teenager. She received her first guide's license at 17. Later, she became the first female captain of her university's shooting team.  Il Ling is a professional guide in the US, as well a National Sporting Clays Association Instructor. Outside the US, Il Ling has hunted in the UK, Asia, Australia, and Africa. At Gunsite, she teaches defensive handgun, rifle and shotgun courses, as well as hunting rifle and wingshooting.

Who makes the best 308 mag loader?
98Z5V replied to BR-549's topic in Cleaning ,Maintenance and Tools
If we can somehow get him down here, I think the only reason he'll go back to Kalifornication is to load up all his stuff for the move... <laughs> <thumbsup> -
True, however, there are enough quality piston setups out there now, and H&K isn't the only game in town anymore. That was more of what my intent was with my statement - not really bagging on H&K for the technology, but the price, when you can have something similar, possibly a direct equivalent, at a fraction of that cost.

I support Drew - I have that same set of needs... <dontknow> <laughs>

Their stuff is damn nice. <thumbsup> I'm still after that double case in FDE...

Drew, you need to slow that animation down a little - I need more time to see what all you've got on your hard drive... <dontknow> <laughs>

If you're going to build the upper, consider Fulton Armory for the stripped upper receiver (disregard if you're buying one complete). DPMS changed the rail height on their flat-top uppers. The original height was used by companies when free-float rails started coming out for these (the DPMS varients), and you have more options for free-floats with it. Fulton Armory stripped uppers are at that original height. There are many companies that make free-floats in both heights now, but some companies that still don't - and only make the original height-match. Just more options for you if you get your stripped upper receiver from FA. <thumbsup> I only know of ONE company that makes a free-float ONLY for the new-height uppers, and that's DPMS themselves.

Thank you, my brother-from-another-mother. Just let me know when to send in the FFL info. I'm all over this one. <thumbsup> -

Excerpt of what you replied with - and like I told you, if you don't like it, too bad. Now, first this is a gun forum, and not a forum about "grammatical errors for collegiate purposes." However, expecting people to give you answers to the junk you typed is ridiculous. If you want help or advice, at least show the respect to the audience you're requesting the information from - by asking in a manner that's easier to read. You didn't even consider the disrespect you showed this board, with that, did you? Second point: You talk about disrespectfully and distastefully responding? Are you serious? You have no ground to stand on with that, whatsoever. Go back to my paragraph above for an example. Show the audience you're requesting the info from a little respect, and give them a better tool to work with, instead of what you're doing here. Last - you want me to approach you like a man about it? No worries - if you have anything further to say about this, then take it to PMs and I'll help you figure it out real quick. If you can't understand it, your stay here will be short. I'm telling you that directly, and personally, like a man.

First, this thread makes my head hurt with the amount of Rambo-fantasy bullpoopy that's being tossed about. I'll have to read this two or three more times just to be able to comprehend what some of these wildass goals really are for some of you. Next. ENGLISH is a requirement on this message board. It's never really been specified before - but it's never been needed before, either. poop like this below is NOT going to go here: My opinion, and my opinion only - if you're so damn lazy that you can't type out some real ENGRISH, then don't even bother - don't even post. I'm not going to waste what little time I have trying to decipher your bullpoopy. I'm not texting you, and you're not texting me - it's not costing you ANY character space on your monthly contract. You either take the time to make your posts intelligible, or I'll delete them. I'll take the time out of my day to spare the others that really look to help others - I'll delete your garbage so we can move on to more important topics - the ones that care enough to really say what they mean, or want. Don't short-hand poop around here. I personally can't stand seeing it, I won't try to figure out what you're trying to say, and I won't put others through it. Use your brain instead of being lazy. If you don't like that - that's just too bad.

JP Silent Captured Action Spring (Buffer Spring/Buffer)
98Z5V replied to moagm316's topic in General Discussion
That buffer spring noise in your ear, that some people think is annoying - that always lets me know when I just fired my last round in the mag. When the bolt locks back, it's a completely different sound, and you know it right away. You know it's coming, and when you hear it, you change mags fast. <dontknow> -
HIs website has been disabled for a long time now - I've been searching for his stuff for a long time, based on your posts from ARF about it. What I eventually found was Presicion Firearms ( http://www.precisionfirearms.com/ ), after searching for Dan Konrad so for long. There's alot of nice furniture out there - it just seems like nobody wants to talk about where they got it, or the places they got it are no longer in business, or doing it anymore. No offense Big Bore - there's just not many real places out there to find the good stuff. The DPMS and RRA stuff looks like it just came out of the bandsaw, and it's not even quality material for people to work with, unless they're woodworkers by trade. The Dan Konrad links just don't work, man. <dontknow>

It's one of the most solid setups out there - it'll serve you well. <thumbsup>

Feeble attempt at a :threadjack: You're busted... ;D Hell yeah!!! That was good times, brother - needs to happen again. <thumbsup>

So, EC either gets his ass beat, or it's Wild Jungle Monkey Sex... That means it's the same as drinking Tequila!!! :ecs: <lmao> ***Tequila-drinking Word Of Caution*** - sometimes BOTH will happen. <dontknow>

Sounds like a POF setup?... <dontknow> Check into a POF upper before you send it back.

It'll be loose until the rail goes on there, and you put in the bolts to tighten it. Not trying to sound condescending, just going off the info from above. Sounds like you've tightened the barrel nut so far, and asked the question. That plate cinches the rail to the barrel nut - it'll make a plate-rail sandwich with the barrel nut in the middle. <thumbsup>

Hell with the stalking - we need to get together and blast some evil carboard bad guys - and steel. <laughs> <thumbsup> I'll bring alot of guns - as many as I can fit in the bed of the truck. Regretfully, that won't be "all" of them, but it'll keep us busy. If you have preferences, just let me know and they'll get packed up... ;D
