  1. You're underestimating the event, my brother... The dates we initially put on paper are 1~4 November, Wednesday to Saturday - obviously, that will include a Sunday Shoot as well, 5 Nov. One of the guys traveling from Mass might be able to work it a few days after that weekend, so it might run to Tuesday... It's solid, but flexible enough to run it longer if need be.
  2. I like it. Really. I'm not a fan of any smart-technology, because it just isn't. Kinda like the "wireless" AR accessories that almost took off. All remote switched, controlling your light, laser illuminator, red dot, etc. You get used to that smart tech, and get your gun electronically jammed, and you have to learn how to use it old-skool style - which you may not know how to do. These are old, but they worked. Always in the ruck. http://www.prc68.com/I/HEXJAM.shtml In the mid 90s we had some really small ones made up - about as big as 3 cans of Copenhagen, stacked. Way broader freq range and overall jamming range. They fucked shiit up.
  3. I'll cool with the shipping, brother. I'll try to send you a PM, with my email addy in there. EDIT - PM out.
  4. Those fuckers. Again, with their own shiit. The Aero Precision is a little different than straight-DPMS and Armalite (both versions), as well - so it might be the same as the PSA? Worth a shot, and always in stock. Pics of your issue, measured out, would help tremendously.
  5. Tubb Carrier Weight System fixes that, just with the CWS body, and no weight in it. If that was the issue. It adds 0.080" length to the back of the BCG, pushing that buffer off the retaining pin when the receivers are closed.
  6. That's not it, brother - those instances will always look like this:
  7. EXACTLY!!!! 1:26 in this video explains it all!!!
  8. I'm down with the 300 Win Mag, 45-70 and 30 Carbine, Pete. $26.50? My math might be way off. Shoot me a PM on it, brother, and I'm there. Keep me in mind for .338 Fed if you come across it.
  9. Same here, with the Mk18 RIS II. I would clubafucker with it. Solid.
  10. Quarter Circle 10, as well. They were the machine shop for DDLES, back in the day, and then did their own thing. I have a DDLES lowered 9mm "pistol" build, running modded UZI mags. If the mag-mods are on, it runs like a champ. When you (I) fuk the mag mods up, it doesn't feed properly. There are companies that will do the UZI mag mods for you. I went quick on mine, and a few don't feed worth a shiit... They're getting smashed if I can't fix them... If you do the Glock-mag lower, you don't even have to worry about that... https://www.quartercircle10.com/
  11. That sucks - that's who I got all my greasegun mags from... They run flawless, too. Cobray made 10-rounders in the past, as well as Masterpiece Arms. Here are some EXPENSIVE ones! http://www.gripsandknives.com/Military_Pattern_10_round_M3_Grease_Gun_Magazine_p/ggmag10.htm
  12. Gas port diameter on the barrel?
  13. I have no idea on that, but a tripod HAS to be heavy! I don't know of that many 30-rd mags, either, but 25s are common now. A 20-rd P-Mag loaded with 175s weighs 2lbs. My 18.5" gun weights 12.75lbs with scope, no mag loaded. No bipod attached.
  14. I wondered what one it was... I didn't know which post hit that, and didn't pay attention... That is a damn good looking receiver set, too...
  15. That's no worry, either - since it comes with pic rail sections. Just toss one of these on the pic rail on the side or bottom, and you're good to go. MagPul RSA. This pic shows it mounted on the top rail, but I don't like that - torques the rifle when you sling up tight, which is what you'll be doing. Mount it on the side, with the QD cup down, or mount it on the bottom with the QD cup to the side - whatever your support-hand side is. It torques the rifle less like that when you sling up tight.
  16. That's why you need a Dodge, brother - greasable zerks in the driveshaft u-joints, and if you blow the transfer case off the Trans overdrive unit at 80mph on the freeway, you just SAFELY bang to a stop...
  17. I've already got one, and can't handle it...
  18. No, you're not on some kind of "IR" until you're 60. . IRR (Inactive Ready Reserve) is an 8 year initial obligation, from first enlistment, and nothing more. Your max of being recalled back to active duty is 30 years from first enlitsment, and MUST be for a conflict that was not occurring during your initial enlistment - and that shiit sunsetted for you in 2014. A very prime example for you - AND for me would be something like - war in Afghani-land and Iraq was already ongoing, and so was Horn of Africa, and ALL that was captured under "The Global Was On Terrorism." Something NEW would have to be declared, and I'm talking BRAND NEW, like a declaration of war on Iran. Or a straight declaration of war on Syria. Straight out, declaration of war, on another country, that's brand new from when you were serving. Once you're out - you are OUT. That's it. Unless - you have 30 years of total service, and a brand new conflict is declared. At that point, and ONLY AT THAT POINT, can they recall you. Good luck spreading your bullshiit here. I'm not dealing with it.
  19. There you did it. Based on your own experience, in your own post about yourself, you are not, nor never were a frontline troop, in any way, fashion, or manner. Therefore, you cannot deny that you were a POG. You were... the whole time. You were in maintenance, maintained aircraft the whole time, and that's about it. Kunsan AB isn't "remote" at all - I've got 6 years total in the ROK, as an Army guy. None of my assignments were on the DMZ, so none of my assignments are called "remote" in my records. Your assignments certainly aren't more "remote" than mine, being further south in the country than any of mine were. Otherwise, I'd have some pretty amazing shiit in my military records. I'm glad you had 75+ people in your care, and also managed to stay out of jail: At the peak of my real First Sergeant career, in a single company, I had 350 people spread over 4 continents and 3 different combat theaters, with those fuckers holding over $350 million in equipment in their dispersed locations, and had to report to the Pentagon G-2 every friday morning as to their exact disposition, exactly, BY MAN. I didn't go to jail, either - so we're both winners there. You coming on here with your screen name of First Sergeant, in your meager meaning of it, versus my very real experience of what a First Sergeant really is - is insulting. But hey, you're Air Force, so it's all okay. It's all the same, right?... It's really not all the same. You think you're apples and oranges - but you're really apples compared to hammers. Nothing alike. However, you made your screen name to make people believe that - tell me you're not proud of your title as "First Sergeant." You made your entire board presence here based off that. I can't even recommend something to you, at this point. If I were you, I'd just change my screen name to something else.
  20. That's old as hell, then - please provide a link to it.
  21. Take it any way you want it, "First Sergeant..."
  22. 1. There you go - on your way out the door. 2. I'll bet you are. 3. No, YOU would be ahead of the game to let it go... Trust me on that...
  23. For the "why" on that - if you run the sling I mentioned, you need to reverse it to run the cuff properly. QD cup attachments let you do that front to back, and nothing else to worry about. Front goes in back, back goes in front. With the cuff, you'll only attach to the front point, and not worry about attaching to the back.
  24. What stock are you mounting the rear attachment to? What on the forward? It all depends. I've got several recommendations for each end, depending on what you're working with. Just finished an A2 stock on a rifle, and highly, highly recommend the Noveske Flush Cup for that. Have the MagPul stock system on the 700, and the MagPul cups are best for that. For the front, if it's got M-LOK slots, the MagPul M-LOK adaptor is the king. If it's Key-Mod, then the Strike Industries keymod rail panel with QD cup feature is best, IMHO... See where I'm going here? Need to know what you're working with, before recommendations... I'd run these on the sling, no matter what, and look for the cup attachment to the rifle as the "what-ifs"...
  25. Just so you know - and you DO know - there's a big, big difference from an Air Force honorary position of "First Sergeant" and the Army equivalent. As well as the Air Force difference in "Master Sergeant" and the Army equivalent. Like, a whole pay grade. It's the difference from E-7 to E-8. What's that called in the Air Force, "Senior Master Sergeant" or something like that? Then E-9 is Chief Master Sergeant? Kinda odd to see a guy show up, touting his rank as his screen name, in his intro post. Then the other stuff in the thread I posted to Moriarti. That was enough, right there. Then, you say this: Bring it. Whatever you meant with that, just bring it. You'll get embarrassed.
