  1. I need to get my license - I picked up two programmable handheld radios, and all they've got programmed into them right now are GMRS and FRS freqs. Magwa, if you haven't picked up radios yet, and you're looking for small handhelds - check these out: http://baofengradio.us/ I picked up the UV-5R V2+ radios to start with:
  2. Damn good looking profile to it - that's such a nice barrel!
  3. Don't know if you guys remember this one from last fall - Drop In.
  4. In on the MaTech - I'll get the payment out to you. <thumbsup>
  5. The Tubb Carrier Weight System adds 0.080" to the length of the BCG body - that's you're only solution for a fix, with keeping all the same parts you have. The only ammo that's getting pierced primers is the Eagle Eye, and it's probably their primer selection that is the problem. Run what you have of it, and don't use it in the future - but reload the brass and see how it is, reloaded. Firing pin hole in the bolt face - check that out. If it's too large, that can cause pierced primers. It'll usually do that on all your ammo, though.
  6. Feedramps on the extension don't match the upper - shouldn't have too much of a problem with your configuration, but it's not ldeal.
  7. Did you guys read that, the whole way through? If you didn't, you need to.
  8. Easier to machine M-Lok, easier to manufacture components for M-Lok, cheaper overall for us, based on easier machining.
  9. Platform? AR15, DPMS 308, Armalite 308?
  10. Competition for the ELCAN?
  11. It won't matter - militarily, the raised portion was always on the right side, until the military copied MagPuls follower design, directly, with the exception of putting the "new" follower raised portion on the left...
  12. I missed this before - that's KeyMod. You can attach all kinds of stuff to the rail - even Pic sections - via the KeyMod setup. I wish Aero would get off the pot with the M-Lok handguards already...
  13. SS, check the "over-insertion" tab on the back of the G3 mag - on the 5.56 side of the house, that tab interfered with my Noveske FFL lower, and I had to trim down two of those mags to run in that rifle...
  14. That hot chick y'all are posting is the lady that worked for Lash's crazy woman... Though, she's crazy, too. Dawn VadBunker. First name is Dawn - I'm not interested in another one of those... :thefinger:
  15. These two quotes tell you more about this litigation than anything else... <thumbsup> THAT just set a precedent. Right there. I like the Brady Center response, too: Mmmmmmm... okay. Suck that, Brady Center. :bj: :thefinger:
  16. I just felt a huge need to correct that statement. Everybody else welcomed the guy, and is working on the problem, so that's all I really have to add right now. Appreciate the opener, Rob. :)) <thumbsup>
  17. I converted to Lancers for all the 5.56 stuff. I tried a Lancer for the 7.62 stuff - I will convert. I will never buy another Pmag - not because Pmags are bad, or anything like that. Lancers are just that good, and I'll put my future money into them. All Pmags will still be shot, routinely, just not purchased in the future. <thumbsup>
  18. Exactly - always have a rifle within "fighting distance." If you carry a pistol, have enough ammo on you to fight your way to that rifle. Conditions and circumstances will dictate how much pistol ammo that will be - plan accordingly, as it changes all the time. Vary that pistol ammo load based on that. Always have a plan, no matter where you are. When you have that exact amount of ammo planned and ready, add one more magazine. Darwin says so. <thumbsup>
  19. shiit, Mike, I even provided you that order form, and it had $275 on it... <lmao> Watch www.keepshooting.com for GG mag sales - they make the best mags, today. I think they're still on sale for $15, new manufacture. Yep, still on sale. http://www.keepshooting.com/firearm-accessories/magazines?application=256&limit=all
  20. I've never searched out "the cheapest barrel I can buy" to build any rifle I have. Therefore, I can't comment or provide input about bad barrel companies. I know Matt can speak of a bad barrel-building experience, from a very good (reputation and performance standpoint) barrel manufacturer. Based on his feedback on that purchasing experience, I will never own one of their barrels.
  21. He didn't want to listen, anyway... <dontknow>
  22. Send him an email. - he hasn't re-increased the price again, according to the website, or the FB page. Don't know what you're looking at, brother, but I don't see anything that suggests he bumped the price back up. Email him. justin@cncguns.com
  23. http://www.keepshooting.com/ The very best ones out there. <thumbsup>
