  1. I prepped this package at work - i intentionally went to my Shipping & Receiving Guys, and told them to give up the stash of heavy paper... <lmao> I papered the hell out of this thing, and wasted ALOT of tape!!! That just makes it so much better when you're trying to get to it... :hethan:
  2. It was a factory rifle, in the past. Here's all the information on current Colt rifles - that'll tell you about it: http://www.colt.com/Catalog/Rifles.aspx
  3. Ah, got it. <thumbsup>
  4. Could be that - you can inspect for that, and see if it's the problem. Shoot 'til last round hold-open (1 round in the mag makes this a short exercise). Check how far up the bolt face the catch is holding. Snatch a pic of that and post it. <thumbsup>
  5. Don't get me wrong - you can more than double your money, with you in at $1400, on that deal. But you'll be parting stuff to make the money. The tools are a bonus. Part that CHiPs bike, and that'll pay for the pile. <lmao>
  6. Unseasonably strange, for this time of year. You should just be ending your "100-days-straight-of-rain" season about now... <lmao>
  7. Cut away on the whole pile, brother, unless the tools are worth more, or you like parting things out. *The Yamaha is a V4 cruiser, 1300. If it's got bottom end problems, you're looking at a crank and 4 conrods. Fucking nightmare. *The ZG1000 Concours wasn't really a good bike. There's still a few out there, but people aren't really looking for parts to restore those things. Drive it 'til it dies, dump it for another bike. You won't get much from parts. *1985 Vulcan 700 - you can't even find parts for it. Kawi discontinued most of the parts supply for that bike several years ago. *KZ550-F2 Limited - another turd from Kawi in the mid 80s. Cut away. Even with a new engine, you'd have more into labor in putting the new engine in, than the thing is worth. *1996 KZ1000 Police bike - these things have been trashed through the years. I work on them often - mostly from people that are into the Patriot Guard riders - they need to get these bikle back up to full-police certification in order to be an escort for the organization. I've seen dudes dump TONS of money into these things, just because they got them cheap, and they support a cause. Supporting the cause is noble as fuk, and I admire the hell out of that, but they should dump more money on more bike, instead of looking to get into it with a cheap bike - that costs them a ton. Anyway, my $0.02. <thumbsup> EDIT - i no-$hit had a KZ1000 Police bike in the shop last month... nightmare with wiring, with all the cop-wiring in it. I just had to make the damn turn signals work, and it cost the guy a small middle-eastern fortune.

He's fuckin' persistent, like nerve agent.
  9. It was in his early CMMG lower, with the PMags.
  10. History Channel popped a good one several months ago - Sons of Liberty. It's out on DVD now, at WallyWorld. If you guys didn't catch it on the History Channel, I highly recommend picking up the copy from Sam Walton. It's the start of this country, and very, very good.
  11. Hell no - there's no relaxing for him... <lmao>
  12. Hey guys, AP wasn't kidding when they said "Limited..." The black upper/lower combo is already sold out - in a day. For upper/lower, you can only choose FDE now. The other two variations are still available (upper lower handguard, and full rifle).
  13. Damn, that thing looks nice. <thumbsup>
  14. I'm screwed as soon as I saw yours. I started looking for nother one, and had to have it - and found out they have fucking accessories! I snatched that leather cover to attach to my daily bag. I was looking at all kinds of kydex stuff until I got dizzy, and just ordered the leather... <lmao> Next - probably stain it darker, drill the handle for a lanyard, wrap some paracord... It's ridiculous.
  15. Hell yeah, brother!!! WooHoo!!! :hethan: I liked his so damn much that I didn't want to send it out to him... <lmao> Mine came in the mail this afternoon.
  16. I'd think so - they're working on the 10mm stuff. Might be worth a call to see where they're at in the process.
  17. Might be true - but nobody likes a quitter...
  18. You're an addict... <laughs> <lmao> <thumbsup>
  19. Several of us here. High quality hardware and work. You can't go wrong. <thumbsup>
  20. ^^^ Ding! Ding! Ding! Ding! Greg nailed it. The black set is less expensive, and I'm gonna paint it anyway. <thumbsup>
  21. You're such a reticle-whore... :ugone2far: <laughs>
  22. P-308 and M-308 is the difference, right there. The P-308 is a brand new scope from Nikon.
  23. Pretty massive difference...
  24. You just HAD to fuk with our Asian brother. what a dik... <lmao>
  25. 44gr of Varget is a decently hot load under a 168gr projectile. Get away with it while you can. It ain't a mild load, that's for damn sure. EDIT - better check your temps when you're loading it, and when you're firing it - much later. That has an effect. No way would I load that in AZ in the winter, and try to take that load out in the summer and shoot it...
