  1. Alliant Reloader 15 is a good powder. Heard rumors that .mil Mk262 is now loaded with Reloader 15. Works well on the 5.56 and 308 Win heavies.
  2. DPMS 308 lower parts kit? Or, DPMS AR-15 lower parts kit? The bolt catch really makes a difference. And, the DPMS 308 bolt catch ain't the greatest. The AR15 one will commonly leave you in the situation you're in now, though. Don't work so well in a 308 AR.
  3. I want this house. Badly.
  4. ^^^ What he said, damn pusher. I want one of these rifles pretty bad.
  5. By far. <thumbsup>
  6. Go with the Aero Precision, but run their M5E1 upper - the enhanced upper. Then you can run their rail, too. Inner diameter of that handguard ia 1.8" - suppressor ready.
  7. Done. And done. We did. Got kinda unruly, because anybody can claim they're a vet or LEO. I ran that section, and wanted to start verifying people, proper. Some of the things I had in mind were what people were bitching about - but were the same verification processes as other places. We dissolved it instead. There are some things that current military, prior military and LEOs say/state/post - that doesn't need to be seen by GenPop. They people in the yard don't need to know all that stuff. Prison terms used, there. Vet/Mil/LEO sections are typically private, and for a reason. If a board had them, GenPop wouldn't even know they existed. And, that's by design, and for reason. My $0.02.
  8. I swear when I read his post before yours, this is exactly what I was gonna say... <lmao> Are you asking if someone here will assemble what you buy? Or, are you asking for what parts to buy, you'll get whatever is suggested, and assemble it yourself? Those are two very different things - and probably nobody here is gonna put a rifle together for you. Handle that, muscle up, and assemble that thing. In a nutshell - pending your response...
  9. That RCBS electronic powder drop is a damn nice piece of gear. One day, one day...
  10. H3 in Dawn Marie's build, with a Rainier Match 14.5" pinned barrel, carbine gas system. That thing has some gas port magic going on, cycles factory supers fine, and run my 150gr handloads great. ((Hornady 150gr HPBT, cut down and resized 5.56 NATO cases, CCI 400 primers, 16.1 grains H110)) Had to work my 16" carbine gas NEMO Arms barrel over, in the buffer department. I went MagPul MOE Rifle stock and rifle buffer system on it. Wouldn't cycle some ammo, and wouldn't reliably cycle my 150gr handloads. The Rifle buffer is what is was. I had to lighten that thing up to about H weight to get it to cycle everything and lock back on a single round/last round. I'm going to convert that one over to the Spike's rifle receiver extension spacer, and just run a standard carbine buffer in it, with the trusty Armalite carbine spring.
  11. Hey Adam, did you know that Magwa played for a band? Magwa needs to tell those stories, 'cause they're pretty badass. <thumbsup> Come on, Mike, spill it, brother!
  12. Burnt Bronze looks sweet in some of these pics below, but you get that stuff in sunlight, and it looks like a Big Gold Tooth. I ain't joking. Looks good here, but drag it out in sunlight... Ugh.
  13. That's that damn Burnt Bronze. I'm gonna darken that up before I shoot the XD with it. It's getting a little bit of Patriot Brown added to it. That batt cap on the EOTech is getting stripped, as well as the Surefire. They'll get recoated. I'm not down with the bling of the Burnt Bronze at all...
  14. Tubb Final Finish will fix a barrel that's stripping copper in no time, and it's easy to find. If you don't have a hand lapped barrel, that stuff will give you a match-like barrel finish by the time you finish a 20-rd box. <thumbsup>
  15. That's a good practice to have, and something you need to do anyway. Stick with that. <thumbsup> With a digital vernier caliper, it takes no time at all.
  16. Yep. Speed makes a difference. <thumbsup> That 208 AMAX through a 300 Win Mag would look like that 110 Barnes from the 300BLK.
  17. Yes, you absolutely can - and GOOD CALL!!! <lmao>
  18. Those little hookers were skeered. I might still get one or three to grab the rifle and get a pic. Don't know.
  19. ^^^ That's fucked up... :fawkdance:
  20. Here's what's going down in a few weeks. Make sure you click the settings over to 720 HD. <thumbsup>
  21. That wasn't a double drop - you forgot to take out the pistol powder when you were loading rifle rounds... <lmao>
  22. Sexual Chocolate...
  23. Alright, kept you Shady Bastards waiting long enough... <lmao> Took the pics at 0645 this morning. Didn't have time to upoad them before I had to leave for work. Here you go. No cactus. Palm tree this time...
  24. I use this - zero issues. You set the trim length and lock the collar. Everything else comes out the same.
  25. You nailed a good great deal on that stuff, man.. Great deal.
