We started off sad. Mr wifes baby brother, single, never married 65 years old died in Denver. Wife is his only heir. The county coronor called at 8:00 PM on Dec.30 and gave us the news.Worked all day the 31st making arrangements. Waiting for better weather next week to drive the 800 miles to settle his estate. We'll be okay only takes strength, patience, and lots of money and prayers. At least he has a good last will and testament.

Sorry to hear brother mac, that God welcomes him into heaven with open arms.Had a tire go flat last night, drivers rear tire doing 70 in the left lane last night.Lucky the road was dry it's freezing rain today.Swung over to right lane 4 lanes over to the shoulder and called AAA waiting for tow.No way I could change a tire with traffic flying 4 ft. from my door.Had seatbelt on hoping no to get rearended by some POS.Just got new tires put on last week.At least it wasn't the wife or her with grandkids.

So the saga continues they have moved a 20 ft cargo container on to my place, which is getting muddy as hell with all the traffic, and there is a crew doing demo and a crew moving firewood and a crew coming tuesday to see if any of the building is salvagable but they can not start till a engineer says those parts left are ok, then there is a crew moving the parts of the tree as it is in the way and everyone is in everyones way and my peace and quiet is gone!!!!!!!

MackC... sorry to hear about your BIL... my condolences...

Magwa... that sucks about your shop... hope when you get in there and can survey the situation, it was all the cheap stuff that was tore up... replace it with top of the line stuff... always buy up...

I went out the other day to run a few errands, fired up the Explorer and the low tire pressure light came on... ehhh, not a big deal it's been a couple months since I've checked them, only been puttering around local so it's about time... was ready to pull out and thought maybe I should take a look... damn right rear was pancake flat... looked and right out in open sight was what looked like a 22rf case stuck straight into the tread... oh well looks like a new tire is in order, I aired it up and went to the local shop to have it checked out...  guy pulled a slightly deformed 223 fmj bullet out of the tire... at least it could be plugged, just wonder how it got there... I do live adjacent to Camp Lejeune so it may have been carried out by someone and dropped on the road, could have been shot off a range, way to many possibilities to make any sound decisions about it's origin...

oh well lets hope that isn't going to set the stage for the new year...

You had 9 cords worth of that trees relatives under the shop overhang? You think maybe he was just getting even?

All that noise will be gone in a hurry and hopefully you'll get back to a normal life. Hang in man, or come visit us down south while they build for a bit.

Firewood LOL I already had 9 cords under the overhang on the shop all split and dry as a bone now they have to move all of it out on the ground and tarp it I don't need no more firewood for 3 years ... lol

That's not a bad problem!!

I need some for my ice shack but my stove is only 14"Lx12"hx8"W so I can only burn little stuff
