I came across this near unbelievable official news report from my home state (God help us all).  It's so odd, I'll let the video speak for itself.

*two links just in case.

May peace be with all you "Pastafarians" out there.

Here's a challenge: Go ahead and one up each other with local stories.

One of the TCs I worked with this past weekend has worked with two people that had encounters with blind shooters.

The first, a firearms instructor wanted to see if they could teach a blind person to shoot.  They used a pistol with a laser sight.  When the instructor could see the dot on steel he would tell the blind person to squeeze the trigger.  Worked well.

The other was a member of a national shooting team that went to Australia for a demonstration event against the Aussie disabled shooters blind shooting team.  The sight using Americans wore blindfolds, all shooters having a device on their barrel that gave a tone for how far off up/down and a different tone for how far off left/right.  They got their asses stomped by the blind folks, who were able to synch the two tones easily.

Something like this:

I don't have time ATM to commit to this thread, but I just wanna say after skimming thru it not opening any links, blind is a very broad term, legally blind? Can't see shit blind? No sight in one eye blind?

They cannot discriminate against any blind person so full blown never seen a thing, never will can get a permit. I understand the need to defend oneself in the home and have no doubt a blind person could be trained to do it but they would never be able to be sure of the target. Then again a sign stating they are armed and blind should be a good deterrent for ANYONE entering the home!

Others senses reign supreme when one goes out.  Do you know your wife's smell?  Can you tell a person hasn't brushed their teeth from 10' away if they're upwind?

I know Georgia issues drivers licenses to people who apparently can't read. Or see.

Baaahahahahaha!!  I thought that was just Arizona.

I heard about this crazy bitch on the radio a few months back, maybe I'm judgmental but the 3sec of the video I watched she looked like a very disturbed individual

Judgmental....nah.  You hit it right on the head.  I think my favorite part is her crazy eyes and the homemade pasta monster she made.  She's embraced the term bat-poop crazy.

did any one else see the amendments on her license, it was a class "D" bus license... how'd ya like that poop house rat crazy carrying your kids around?...

I think the good news is it might mean any small vehicle under 26K lbs, EXCEPT a school bus.   Lord, I hope that's it!  The other option is anything she drives has to be under 26K lbs, unless it's a school bus, and then it can weigh more than that.  Hoping that's wrong.

Can anybody from MA clarify that?

In ma to drive any vehicle that can carry 14+ passengers and a driver you need a class c, yellow busses have air brakes I think and you will need an endorsement or class b license

the ones around here don't have air brakes, but I think you need a passenger enforcement

It's amusing to me that we have a bunch of armored trucks that happen to weigh 25999 lbs. Pretty convenient when the CDL cutoff is 26k. Odd the trucks weigh the exact same even though some are clearly larger than others.

Same thing with the refer trucks at Eegee's when I drove for them.

Luckily......I don't need jack $hit for driving this bus.

But it's usually only filled with drunken 308AR members. laughing

and there are usually a few LEO's aboard to give the secret hand shake if there are any issues.. Lol

You sure that ain't a social class???  "d" for dumbass???

They also have one of those in Germany, I think.....Dumkopf Driver

My buddy used to train bus drivers in Germany.  He told me this when he was looking for work.  I suggested he open his own driving school.

Shaking his head rapidly and hunching his shoulders he said "No...no...no.  I'm not teaching drivers anymore. No."
