Frankh252
Was in a private junkyard 'o rusted hulks one time and learned that a .177cal lead pellet wouldn't break a car's windshield no matter how many pumps on the old Daisy or Crossman but a steel BB would break them with only 1 pump. Have we been sleeping ????? we have let this country go to hell and let the gov't Tell us how to raise our kids, I raised mine like I was raised and they both went to college and that Fooked them up now they are both Dem,s we need to get busy people we need to get our country back..... jtallen83
It's a shame that most all of us here and around the country have the same fond memories of growing up in the America of yesteryear but somehow a select few managed to shove this new age schit down our throats and ruin the country. We need to rebalance the scales so future generation can enjoy these same Liberties.

We need to rebalance the scales so future generation can enjoy these same Liberties. It seems to me that the major malfunction lays in the area of enforcement provision, where we have provisioned the govt with ample means to enforce their rules while providing much less provision of the ability to enforce the constitution upon the govt. EngrBob
It's a shame that most all of us here and around the country have the same fond memories of growing up in the America of yesteryear but somehow a select few managed to shove this new age schit down our throats and ruin the country. We need to rebalance the scales so future generation can enjoy these same Liberties. The reasons are simple. The teacher's union and the communist takeover of education, the media, and the courts. The educational system defines what is "the proper way to think and feel" which is then propagandized by the media in commentary and sitcoms/docudramas, and then codified by activist judges prepared by the system. The soviets had it right in terms of how to take the west over without a fight, the communist system simply didn't last long enough for its plan to fully take hold. What is happening with Trump now may well be a revolution, one aimed at restoring that life described above. One that is now focused on the ballot box but one that could become violent very quickly if the ballot box option is taken away.
Sisco
grandpa is a double amputee above the knee do to a train accident, dad always said "he may not have any legs but you better make damn sure your outta arms reach if your fucking off" he'll be 92 in August. I got my ass whooped PLENTY by my old man. I grew up between two cities, my parents worked first shift. In the summer if I wanted to go anywhere I had to ride my bike there. Used to ride my bike down to a pond about 15 min away and fish all day or to a buddies house in town about 30min then down town to his dad's appliance store hang out and watch tv (I didn't have cable till I was 14 or 15). @Sisco you probably got fishing lures older than I lolShepp, I think I do. Got some of my Dads from the 40's. Engineer Bob, you got me by exactly one year.

392heminut
Born in 54 and that describes my childhood to a T! Black & white TV with 3 channels, ABC, NBC and CBS and we had to go out and turn the antenna to get CBS if we were watching one of the other two channels. I bought my own lawnmower when I was 12 with money from my paper route and mowed lawns in the summer. I had to make money to buy new axles to replace the ones I broke ramping my bike! I bought my own bicycle too! By today's standards we were poor when I was i kid but us kids didn't really know that! I learned early on that if I wanted money in my pocket I had to go out and do something to earn it! That lesson has all but disappeared today. I had four, pbs then 5 when fox came out, but we had a 60' antena with an auto rotor . Bought a trek mountain bike in 93 from mowing lawns, bought my first truck in 97. I wouldn't say that we were poor my. Dad was a UAW worker and mom worked in a factory, always had nice things but I worked for everything I had. Sisco
Friends lets count our blessings for the way we were raised, and pray our children and grandchildren have the opportunities we did and the chance to learn what hard work and perserverance can do. I'm thinking the good Lord will expect some action on our part to fix the mess these same generations allowed on their watch, more deeds needed than words...............more raise hell than raising glasses. unforgiven
99% of the families in my neighborhood had no life insurance as they were Steelworker's and just took the plant plan.At that time it was 10/15 K double if you got killed in the plant,as many were.Majority of demographic on the Southeastside were Polish,Serb,Croat.Just sayin. There is no substitute for perserverance, hardwork and education.
