I was curious as a sport bike rider I often wondered why guys removed or didn't put dual disks on their cruisers. I know they don't excelerate like a street bike but they are heavier and I'd take all the stopping power I can get. Been outta bikes for 6-8 years but that's one thing that jumped out at me. Very well done sir
survivalshop
Here's a stock bike The only credit I can take on this Bike is I rebuilt from the frame up for the wife & now its done , because of medical reasons , she can't ride & I hardly ride any more , since I retired. ( I did change some things that were wrong or not to my standards ) My 2003 Ultra Classic just sits in the garage also . I was going to restore her like the photo above , but the wife liked her this way & saved me a bunch of grief , trying to find correct parts for a one year only produced Vintage HD , can get quite expensive & would have cut in big time to my 308 AR collection . I did get an OEM Outer Primary Cover last year , I was lucky , got it from Canada . My 65 is for sale if anyone knows someone interested. My emocons no worky.... Been riding & building HD's for over forty six years , rode to work every day , rain, shine & cold ( yes it gets into the twenties here in Florida , a day or two ) just don't have the spark in me I used to . The last two years ,it seemed I worked on these two Panheads none stop . One gone , one to go & I might even sell my 03 Ultra Classic when this one sells.
