ugh, no inventory anywhere....

I'm trying to buy a matched combo DPMS upper/lower receiver set seems impossible these days, I've wasted so much time on the net going back and forth between sites over the last week.

Mega Maten is out of stock till who knows when, Tactical won't have uppers till after the new year, Aero is sold out, same for PSA, Ranier... The beat goes on with everybody else I run across, even the 80% stuff is out.

Any suggestions/pointers to a known good setup that is in stock somewhere so that I can actually buy something?  Sitting here looking at my nice DWilson BCG all alone on my desk with no friends to play with.

Also deltateamtactical.com They have a few misc. 308 parts. I think they have some free float hg, I always make sure I get a steel barrel nut, not the alum. that is just my preference.

Or if none of these fit the bill (I'm a big fan of mega, they are almost exclusively all I build with), start buying other parts. Finish your upper and lower first with out owning them.

I wish when things are out of stock some companies, like Aero, would just say it is out of stock instead of removing it from the website and saying it basically doesn't exist. then I can just keep an eye on it. Heck, I would put a down payment on some things and just be fine being on a waiting list for some stuff.

Is crazy how so many things you can't find though.

Can't say I blame people for buying a ton before the election, we get Hilary in office and I fear for our gun rights.

This is why I am currently in the market for a matched upper and lower. Just to have, just in case, ya know.  I like the Salt Works, just researching the reviews on it now.

I have been watching Salt Works for over a year.  I was looking to buy one of their matched sets over winter and read they sold the company.  There was a whole lot of people pissed that they ordered sets and they never shipped when it changed owners (not sure who's fault it was).  It sounds like the new owner has got things straight now.  I was hoping to see if anyone here has purchased a Salt Works set in the last couple of months for feedback too.

Salt Works was supposed to be one of our sponsors but their communication sucked more than ours.... which is REALLY bad.

I read on Calguns that their communication sucks.  That is what turned me off from buying from them.  I guess I will look elsewhere.
