How exactly did you mount that pistol grip on that breach.. I've been tinkering with that exact gun and love the grip you've integrated into weapon.. just need to know if you had to custom make the mounting system or does someone somewhere offer that as a kit? Everything I could find aftermarket just looked like it didn't belong.. that grip just looked like it was made for that peice

That's not some home-made piece - it's a factory "AOW" gun, takes a Tax Stamp and the waiting period for a Tax Stamp, and manufactured just like that.

Look up the “Hogue Tamer”

if you want to be a badass... look up the “CROM Pistol Grip Adapter”. Much bigger CDI factor!!!

I was going to ship it, but now it’s so close to fall, I may as well just drive it down.

That means you're IN for the Shoot, brother!!!   Fuk YEAH!!!

Whatever you have to tell yourself to keep it a little longer for some play time.

I have the firing pin- we had to disable it to present it at SHOT. FML - now I need to find the firing pin and spring...   :lmao:

You know he snuggles it, anyway...   :hump::laffs:

Fall is so close to SHOT that you might as well bring it - we'll shoot that fucker if I can find the operational parts - then we take them back out and you drive it back with you for the next one in Jan...   At this point, I'm sure it's got your DNA all OVER it... :laffs:

before buying anything Rossi

look into availability of parts , they are not available for the most part , this is important because the "quality is there , but not" , if that makes any sense  , . what i mean is they are decent alternative for the money ,but the old adage you get what you pay for applies

i purchased two Rossi rifles the same day , the RS22 .22 LR semi auto and a RS22M the .22 mag semi auto ,both have free float barrels , i wanted a pair of rifles for beaters for the farm to replace my Marlins that i had just restored and they were too pretty to go for tractor rides anymore

out of the box they were close to dialed in and both functioned great , i decided to stay with the nice iron sights the LR came with and they are nice sights at this price point ,and threw a Sig Sauer variable on the magnum , the same day i was sighting in the magnum i ran maybe 5 or 6 mags through flawlessly between sighting in and getting a feel for the rifle , very pleased , would go as far to say very very pleased with both rifles , thought i found a new fav brand

i have 32 acres so i have a harry land owner range , get to the house and put both on my gun bench to be cleaned later , think i went to cut grass or something , anyway about 2 days later i had time to clean the rifles and learn how to break them down , go to clear the magnum and no charging handle , it was there when i racked it  the last mag i ran but somewhere between those 2 moments it seems to have vanished , how does a charging handle disappear?

retraced my steps , looked all around the shooting bench , no joy , could not find it anywhere on line it took me 2 months to track one down , Rossi wanted me to send them the whole rifle just for the charging handle , i was almost forced to do that , for a part that ended up costing around $5

Rossi , they are great shooters for the money , you do not get a feel of great quality when handling them and it appears parts just come up missing for no reason , nothing was broken at all , no stub left behind ,nothing on the bolt broken , the recoil spring keeps pressure on a little stub that protrudes through where the charging handle fits fitting into a corresponding notch in the handle itself  ,so i am thinking when the bolt was in battery the tension was at its most lax i must have bumped the handle just right to knock it out , not a good attribute for a farm beater
