It keeps getting better all the time, brother, no kidding.  Long Distance, High Angle, short-course pistol, medium distance, rifle/pistol combo. Shotgun whatever you want.  We've developed the dream, man, big time.

Talks this past weekend were around going in as a group, and buying that property - and building a bigass cabin on it.   :hail:

Make sure you check out the illum on the new scope first - try to find a local place that's got one in stock, and just check it out.  If it's hard to see on 1 or 2 in a shop, it should do the trick at night, and not be too bright.  If you can't even see setting 1, in a shop, it'll certainly get it done.

He’ll be ok, he’s stated he’s buying Leupold mk4/6/8. Mine worked on our night shoot

i am jealous of those out west that can shoot like that.  too many trees and people back east for that.

My NF scope has two NV settings before I get to an actual lit reticle. In pitch black, I can barely make them out with my naked eye. To be honest, 99% of the time my batteries are dead and I don’t bother.

I went with a Swampfox Arrowhead 1x8 LPVO with the BDC reticle. The reticle illumination has 21 settings, from barely visible to extremely bright. There is an off position between each of the settings so you can "preset" the dial and your desired level of illumination is just 1 small click away. Good reviews and loads of features at a reasonable price point.

I look forward to dialing it in once I get this gun to run.

Nice-looking rifle I have a few that had the illuminated reticle I haven't used them much but I don't hunt at night.

I have a Leupold on my Browning BAR it's illuminated but I don't even have a battery in it.

the cross hairs are pretty visible even in low-light conditions
