A poor Vietnamese family freaked when he charged the silhouette target and chopped it to bits. Said he didn’t need a handgun. RedRiverII
Eye opening thread. We should definitely have a belt thread. What kind of belt do you use to hold up the extra 10lbs. of necessities. I do like the med gear. It's worth it's weight in gold, nah it's worth it's weight in diamonds at times. You guys are talking me into a pocket Glock. My impressions from family are " Why do you carry that stuff?" They look on it as dangerous. My sense in viewing this thread is that you folks care more for people than they know. You don't run from fire, you don't run from accidents, and you don't stand around gawking. Most folks freeze up, in my experience anyhow. Thank you for being part of the " Lead Foot Society " ( that's Pb, lead, fishing sinker stuff ), can't and/or won't run.
Sisco
I need to upgrade my kit. I have a molle belt I added shoulder straps to for weight distribution that I often use as a range belt, especially when I have to walk a distance carrying magazines, pistol, Leatherman, etc, etc. I need to add a medic kit to it along with some other stuff, but primarily a good medic kit. Good point I need to add some more stuff to my medical bag. Like scalpels and some antibiotics. JIC.
Robocop1051
Blue Alpha hybrid belt for EDC. Otherwise I wear Mernickle leather belt when I’m “dressed up”. I will only buy a bill if I can guarantee that it will hold the gun in place. Tom... because there’s no “police cigarette lighter “

392heminut
Bianchi B9 belt, been wearing one for over 25 years! I still have my original one. It's kind of tight on me now but I'm almost back down to where I can wear it again. These belts seem to last forever!
98Z5V
I quit wearing a rigger's belt years ago, since I have no more need to strap in/tether in to a helicopter or plane anymore. For a 1 3/4" belt, every day, I have a 5.11 web belt. Holds a gun holster, gun, double mag pouch just fine. When I get dressed up, I have a 1.5" leather belt from Duluth Trading Company, with their signature "Angry Beaver" on the belt buckle...
