Those are made from S/S are they not ?I ordered the 416SS bolt, which is an upgrade from their standard bolt material, which I cannot recall at the moment. I could tell you if their web store wasn't closed. To answer your question, my bolt carrier IS stainless.

On top of attractive appearance, that's a very good and even critically important feature, given the past issues with the AR-15. It might not be as big a deal for the .308s but a plus is a plus.

Jgun Posted January 14, 2012 Report Posted January 14, 2012 Looks just a good as their AR-15 carriers. Although I'd like to try out the Fail zero coatings, I think the price on those carriers is out of line. I wonder if Young Mfg. will decide to offer a super light .308 carrier?
