imschur
Two days in the 80's now 50's and low 60's. Strange indeed for my location this time of year. Over a foot of rain in the past 30 days.
98Z5V
I'm getting it, too. I was riding the motorcycle last week in a t-shirt, but that's not happening now. About a week from now it'll be back up, but's it's only a gradual temp climb to get there.Global Warming, huh? ;D

DNP
Not any more, the new PC phrase is Climate Change!! So now they're covered from all angles. I don't deny we are changing....but I'm not crazy enough to claim we are responsible. We are fleas on this planet and she'll shake us off when she's had enough. Also hoping for safety for those in the tornado towns. I will keep my earthquakes...tornados scare me.
Armed Eye Doc
I live at the Southern part of "tornado alley" and expect multiple storms a year that have that capability. That doesn't mean I don't keep an eye or two on the weather when it's warranted. I would be totally freaked out by an earthquake that a Californian would shrug at. It is horrible when a tornado hits a populated area just like it's horrible when an earthquake devastates an earthquake-prone area. You live with what trials God gives to your area and trust that you will be safe when He is through.

We are fleas on this planet and she'll shake us off when she's had enough. Never a truer word said my man. Man....as a species....is just another speck of life that this planet has seen in it's "billions of years" lifetime. We're arrogant to think that we can change anything "permanently" on a global scale. The planet will heal itself......whether we help it or not. And I mean that from the geological standpoint......not the religious reference.

planeflyer21
Anyone that believes we can impact the climatology of this planet needs to be placed in the middle of the ocean on a vessel, clear night, to ponder just how tiny and irrelevant they are. And if that has no effect, they need to be on the same vessel in the same ocean, in the middle of a storm. Jon
NoFail
Those fkn Tornado's. The worst quake I ever experienced was the Loma Prieta quake of 1989, in the S.F. Bay Area. It almost killed me, literally. That one was 7.9 if I remember. These Tornado's, they make that quake look like a ride at Disneyland. Though lot's of people were crushed to death when the double decker freeway in Alameda collapsed, those twisters are mother fkrs and I don't want any part of them, FRACK THAT!! All those poor souls, my God... Edited May 21, 2013 by NoFail
