Unusually warm here in AZ - we should be in the high 50s or low 60s for December and January, and it's consistently hitting the higher 70s during the day.  I'll take it - but I hope it doesn't indicate "higher temps" and continue into this coming summer.  That WILL suck...   :embarrassed:

We're in the middle of is now known as an Atmospgeric River( formally The Pineapple Express) lots of rain and flooding, washed out road insome cases mudslides.

As bad as it is here just south across the border in Washington state they're getting the main impact of this weather front.

Several areas in my neck of the woods  have been flooded in a day then ok the next with the roads washed out.. rinse and repeat.  Not quite t shirt weather but close. I expect a dump of cold soon? Traffic is just getting stupid. It's like people haven't seen rain before, hmm 🤔 what could possibly be the problem??

That's just Wet-Side Washington, brother, nothing more.  As much as it rains there - those Wet-Side Idiots will NEVER be able to drive there...

I can see a shift in out of town license plates!

In 1992, when I was living there for the first time, the most major shift in "WTF is wrong with the DRIVER'S?!!?" was the Cali plates.

In 1992...

I cannot possibly imagine that it's any different, now..

Hmmmm where to start well a week ago the river was flowing at 3,000 CFS cubic feet per second now it is at 30,000 CFS we are on flood watch and we are without power for the last two days from a storm that produced winds over 75 miles per hour most of the Northwest was hit by this storm and tens of thousands are with out power ... but we have firewood and food so life just chugs along with the generator humming in the backround.....

Dense Fog and rain this morning and think it was 30, had a call in Racine (over on the lake south of Milwaukee) it was 46 when I left there at 2 dropped 10 degrees on the way home part of that is the lake keeps that area warmer in the winter cooler in the summer. Now at 8pm it’s 9° with the windchill and 35mph winds, they’re talking -15 wind chill in the morning
